I listened carefully to Elyssia's words, realizing that there was more to her concerns than just personal feelings. The mention of a traitor among the Divine added another layer of complexity to the situation.

"I understand, Elyssia. I don't want you to feel threatened or worried. We'll figure this out together, and I promise to be honest and open with you. As for Tryst, I'll talk to her and find a resolution that works for everyone," I assured her.

She nodded, her guard slightly lowering. "I appreciate your understanding, Gideon. It's just... challenging for me to navigate these emotions."

I took her hand gently. "We'll take it one step at a time, just try to keep calm around everyone. Now that people know who you are, they are going to be on edge around them. I am sure that once we are married, things will calm down again."
