Tokyo, Japan,
Aichi Academy,
Samuel POV,
Haysaka looked between Samuel and the crowd, what was this? Some boys against girls themed school? Were they going to riot here or something?.... Seriously, her lady really had some outrageous requests.. She slightly sighed, though it went unnoticed by most.
Samuel once again put a hand in his pocket, somewhat raising his head, "I'd rather avoid conflict.." He slightly smiled, if it did devolve, he would end it quickly.
A familiar voice huffed, "As I thought, you really can't be left to run wild." A tall blonde girl everyone recognised, Mary Kikakujou. She folded one arm under her chest, holding up her book in her hand.. a slightly haughty expression on her face. Mary looked at Samuel who waved back for a few moments before averting her gaze, well she admitted, there were some decent people in this world.
"....."
With this, a new party had been introduced to their rather small scale conflict.
"I'm here too by the way.." Amou waved her hand slightly, a small grin on her face as she leaned against a wall with her arms crossed. Subconsciously, Mary and Rin shuddered, having faced the Empress in combat before... it did not turn out well for them.
"...." Nomura clenched his fists staring at the black haired girl, the two had some history but, he had something bigger to deal with at the moment. "Nomura, emergency enlistment, you're going to help me out here!" Rin ordered, her mask glowing purple as she leaned down, drawing her sword more than halfway.
"Hey, we're here too!"
"And she has a sword." Samuel instantly shot down the teenagers who wanted to declare their presence. "We can't just take this sitting down.." He averted his gaze, gritting his teeth in frustration.
Samuel looked at him with slightly wide eyes before placing a hand on his own chest, "I'm... moved." It was good to see that they still had their pride... even if they did bow down before. Obviously however, he was still somewhat joking.
'This seems to be a rather serious situation you know.' Echidna's wide smile betrayed her words, this is why he was so intriguing! Besides, everything she saw in this world was enough to make her tremble in excitement.
"I've been wanting to try a technique of mine too actually." Samuel turned towards Rin once more, this time his smile was somewhat wider... He had no idea if it would work but he wanted to try recreating it.
"As you wish..." The blade shimmered in sunlight as it was swung diagonally... However, what happened next was rather unexpected.
The clanging of metal resounded cleanly, stopping everyone in place.
Rin's sword was stopped by another, that's right. Her sword was stopped by another sword, meaning it had never made contact with Samuel.
Tsukuyo tilted her head, opening her eyes wide, "I believe my words were quite clear." She said, holding her sword in reverse grip, half drawn, stopping Rin's from moving forward.
"Inaba-san, why?" Rin's eyes widened in disbelief, why was Tsukuyo the one stopping her? Weren't they supposed to be allies?!
"You are overreaching your authority." Tsukuyo answered shortly, dressing and acting like women was never in the rulebook.
"..." Rin drew a sharp breath, "It's the only way we can control them." She answered calmly, instead of leaving them free to cause trouble, they could just make sure the trouble wasn't a possibility.
Samuel rubbed his chin in thought, did she even realise what she was saying?
"Umm senpai, what kind of?" Hayasaka let out a small troubled laugh, even if she was genuinely curious, she had to make sure she could carry out her mission.
"This sounds... stupid." Samuel scratched the back of his head, how was this place up and running in the 21st century?
"Where are the faculty I wonder?" Mary remarked thoughtfully, in all honesty, she had no idea which side to take here. "The Supreme Five Swords have higher authority, nee-sama." Chouka, a short girl with long blonde 'hair' made in two drills, respectfully reminded her.
"That is indeed the case."
"Onigawara-san, by what regulation are we meant to control them? Do you recall that weaponry is authorised as a means of self defence and not as a means of enforcement. How disappointing." Tsukuyo sighed, sheathing her sword, this academy was slowly devolving.
"Well I do have a proposal. How about you and me duel? If you lose, I get your stamp and if you win then, I'll retreat." Samuel held up his finger with a small smile, those guys had presented him with a pretty good opportunity.
The men looked rather betrayed after hearing his words, "Don't be that disappointed." Samuel chuckled, he had no intention of losing.
Hayasaka had a look that shouted, is this normal here?!
"...." Rin contemplated the offer, technically, he was supposed to be on par with or beyond the Empress, did she really have a chance?
Amou raised her brow in interest, she wondered how he would fight.
Tsukuyo withdrew her hostility, closing her eyes as a more serene expression formed on her face, "Then I will be the referee." No doubt Samuel would win, she would simply watch out for any cheap shots anyone might make.
"Senpai, will you be alright?" Hayasaka asked 'worriedly' which in turn made Samuel dismiss her rather quickly, "I've done it before."
'You're right, someone may have sent her. I'd surmise it's someone related to you in some way. My guess would be one of the four rival conglomerates.' Admittedly, the politics of this world were far harsher than her own.
Haysaka looked at him in silence,.... what kind of sane person fights someone with a sword unarmed? And what did he mean by experience?! Was she the oddball here? That definitely couldn't be the case right? Though, this kind of attitude coupled with his looks, she wouldn't be surprised if a lot of girls ended up interested in him. Power, looks, money and intellect, what more could one want... Society was unexpectedly objective y'know.
"Good luck." Mary nodded at him, Rin was a fairly skilled fighter that she might lose to in all out battle... though, she didn't quite realise what she had just done.
"Did she just wish him luck?"
"...We're probably hearing things.."
Gossip started up among the girls as Mary's eyes widened in realisation, "I was saying it to Rin.."
"...Bitch in heat." Amou commented, taking a seat on the stairs... Not that she could say anything regarding the matter.
"Thanks." Samuel gave her a small mocking smile, "J-Je ne le disais pas pour toi!" She hmph'd, folding her arms and walking away...
She lied, it was for him.

Currently, there was a commotion at Aichi Academy, numerous students were peering out their classroom windows with visible excitement, even male students strangely enough.
Why wouldn't they?
The new student had quickly gained popularity, tying up one of the Supreme Five Swords on the first day of school, being thrown out of class, and always having Tsukuyo Inaba accompany him. It was natural that news would travel, especially in a school like this.
Today was no different, a few dozen male students had 'revolted', refusing to behave as they were being forced to and to no one's surprise, the new transfer student ended up getting involved in the matter...
The male students hoped that maybe finally they would be given some peace.. or maybe, a beacon of hope.
Currently, in the schoolyard, the rebelling teenagers, three of the supreme five swords, Tsukuyo Inaba, Mary Kikakujou, Rin Onigawara and the transfer student, Samuel Hayes, could be seen standing. Hayasaka was there as well but she was hanging around a tree instead.
"Whatchu want with our paisen?" Nomura asked her, appearing out of seemingly nowhere..
The other students had been sent to their classes by force.. only it was fairly useless because now they were looking at them through the windows.
