Kapitel 214: Everything she said was a lie

The Makina put down his king, resigning before he could be humiliated with a loss. He only knew what Asts-nu-tabta showed him. The room was suddenly silent. Aurora was staring at the board and Mike waited for the two to start talking. It took a while for one of them to break the silence.

"So what is the reason that brought you to us?"

"Ah yes! I was looking for it inside my mind," he said with a faint voice. "I have been given a task since Asts-nu-tabta left. Technically, the position should belong to you as her offspring but something happened a long time ago that changed this course. You are technically a heir and yet not one. You can claim the position if you undo the wrong that has been made to the sceptre."
