**(10 Minutes Ago)**

Bennett left the lobby and entered his own lobby to test some things out.
He looked at the settings and sensed that nothing was really off about his own body, so he didn't change anything about it.
"Hmm... considering what David would do, he might just either spend the whole day here to grind, or to leave after around ten to fifteen minutes of testing out how this system works." Bennett thought about what he would do in this situation.
"I bet... he'll choose the ten to fifteen-minute session instead." Bennett instead, chooses some mid-first tier slimes to fight.
The setting for this fight was 5 mid-first tier slimes, a 15-minute time limit, and a dark cave lit only with torches around the room.
As he was from a noble family, of course, he picked the shortsword as his weapon, just like literally almost any other noble, Mc in this story, and the Mcs in other novels as well.
In the large torch-lit room, an opening was heard to open, revealing 5 slimes of different varieties, the worst part was the fact that the low visibility stopped Bennett from seeing where their cores are. It was really annoying since sometimes, their core and move around to confuse hunters, knights, and adventurers.
The low visibility made it hard to determine the color of the slimes, which usually gave others information about their elements, like red for fire, blue for water, etc.
With the fact that he was in a cave, he did have quite a bit of earth material to work with, and as a human, if he used his fire magic the wrong way, it could cause him to die of suffocation.
He threw tons of his [Earth Bullets] towards them, though none of them were sharp or strong enough to break a core of the slime, and so one of the slimes was able to absorb it and become even stronger.
"Ok... so one of them contains the earth element..." Bennett looked to the right and dashed to the left as the biggest slime was on his right.
Bennett had begun to charge in, seeing that his time was ticking.
*Shing!*
Bennett used all of his strength to make a horizontal slash towards one of the smaller slimes, instantly slicing it in half, with the core broken, and melted.
"Four more to go then"
Bennett continued to charge towards the slime, although he was much weaker in terms of overall fighting strength compared to David, he was still a noble and a genius among his own peers.
"Hah!"
Bennett kills another slime... and another one... and another one... all until they were all melted onto the ground, bringing him back to the menu screen.
He saw that he had used up almost the entire ten minutes, so he clicked out of the 'game', and left the building.
He saw David leaning on the wall looking up at the sky in a daze, most likely playing around with the system.
"Hey! It's still like, barely in the afternoon. Let's go grind a bit!" Bennett said.
"Look at the sign." David pointed to a sign that specifically said about the free ten-minute daily.
"Anymore than that, and we'll have to pay credits, we can't waste those right now." David explained.
"Hmph! I'm done playing then, let's go somewhere else!" Bennett shouted to get his attention.
"Mn? Alright, stop pulling me" David wryly smiled.
The two continued to look around, but as they had already explored a decent portion of this section of the school, they were rather bored and went back to their dorms as it was getting late.

**(Dorms)**

Bennett immediately jumped to his bed as soon as he arrived at the bedroom, snuggling with his pillow.
"Should I feel bad for all those ladies attracted to your noble side of you?" David commented, sitting on his bed.
"Hiiii! Come on man! We've been looking around the school the entire time... let me rest." he moaned.
'Didn't know you could make that noise.' David thought. "Alright, fine then. I'm gonna go to the cafeteria then, what'd you want to eat?"
"Whatever's on the menu. I'm not picky." Bennett absently said.
"Alright then." David sat up to grab his cards and walked to the cafeteria.

**(Cafeteria)**

Since it was evening now from all the exploring and walking David had done during the day, so when he came in, not many people had noticed him.
Although he was a high ranking noble, he almost never showed his face, so not many people had actually noticed or cared about his face.
He quickly got the free lunch, placed it into his inventory after putting the food into a takeout box, and went back to the dorms.

**(Dorms)**

Bennett heard a click on the door and sat up from his bed.
"You're back already?" Bennett asked.
"Of course I'm back. Who else could I be, huh? Here's your food." David passed him a takeout box with napkins and a spoon and fork.
"Ohhh! What'd you get?" Bennett opened his box to see some katsu curry with green peas.
"I got the same thing as you. Might as well see what everyone else eats. This is the 'free' cafeteria food after all." David placed his takeout box on the table and began eating.
"Ehhh... they sure do treat the students well. Even though there aren't many vegetables here, I can already tell the quality of the food, especially in the peas is quite balanced." Bennett commented.
"Welp, I'm more for how it tastes. I haven't eaten things like curry for some time. Haaa...omph!" David took a bite.
"Mnn... Just as I remember. Amazing as always!" David praised.
The two finish eating as they talked about their experiences in the virtual arena, well... it was mostly David giggling at David's struggle with mere slimes when he could last decently long with a restricted instructor, which should be far superior to some slimes.
"Alright... come on, let's brush up and go to sleep, classes start pretty early tomorrow." David left to go brush his teeth.
"But... It's too early!" Bennett complained.
"I'm not gonna coax you, but all I'm going to say is that almost no one is out during this time, and you're going to feel like crap if you stay late to wake up early tomorrow." David's voice rang out from the bathroom.
Grumbling, Bennett went to brush up before going to bed.
The two were in their pajamas that they brought from back home, and slept after saying good night to each other.
