ELLIE'S POV

Three days suspension," I recounted, "That's what Ethan handed down to me because of the altercation Kendra and I had the other day. I couldn't help but cry. It felt like a heavy blow to my professional aspirations. HR's stern warning about the potential threat to my future as a regular employee weighed heavily on my mind.

"Oh, you must be so happy now that I'm suspended with you," Kendra remarked, a tone of frustration in her voice. "You always act like the bitch you know 

I didn't pay attention to her comment and continued packing my things. I knew I had three days of suspension ahead, and it was a brief respite from Kendra's relentless bullying.

"Plus, HR gave me a warning that if this happens again, they'll fire me. I can't afford that, especially with my current situation."

"Please, Kendra, leave me alone," I pleaded.

"No, as long as you're still here in this company, I won't stop," Kendra firmly replied.
