Kapitel 99: Homecoming

"I think you should hear what I have to say first, your highness," Theron said to the hot sand burning underneath his palms.

Basileus didn't like his royal title anymore.

There was something about being on this deserted planet for so long that reminded him how little things like that mattered. Riches didn't matter, material possessions didn't matter, and especially status didn't matter.

All that mattered were connections between people.

Yet there he stood a prince without a kingdom and a man in love without his love next to him. His heart was a graveyard in his chest.

The only way to take the throne from Emperor Kruos was to defeat him and take his title which came with riches. It made the prince wonder if he would feel worse being surrounded by riches without the silver-haired woman by his side.

"Stand up or I'm going to get pissed off," Basileus snapped. "Show me you've kept up with your training or I don't want to hear what you have to say."
