Kapitel 177: Finding the Doctor

The party went on and music filled up the space, setting a far more upbeat mood than what Varya felt. 

She bit her thumbnail, a bad habit she had whenever she was ridden with anxiety. 

With none of the strong men around her who were normally there, a few men of royal families or leaders from planets asked her for a dance and she accepted each offer. She decided she could still be a good host despite the turmoil inside of her. 

The dances only lasted so long and she returned to her table, unable to drink or eat anything else. 

The situation played over and over again in her head.

It shouldn't have taken Basileus that long to check on their son. It shouldn't have taken Ebari that long to deal with Kruos. It shouldn't have taken Galen that long to make sure Ebari was alright. 

She felt relieved when she saw the prince appear in the doorway at the end of the main hall. Their eyes met immediately.
