Trent was still within the house, pacing, around, probably in search of Grace when Jace caught up with him, his eyes blazing with fury and dragged him into one of the empty rooms along the hallway.
"What do you think you are doing? Aren't you tired of causing trouble wherever you go?" Jace hissed, getting right up in Trent's face. "Don't you think it's time for you to scram?"
"And why should I run away? I just didn't want to let Aunt see you make a fool of yourself. I care about her feelings a lot and don't want her to be sad."
"If you care about her feelings you won't do what you're about to do?"
"I'm serious about Grace," Trent said.
"Tell that to the gods. Who doesn't know how serious you've always been when it comes to breaking hearts." Jace scoffed. Let me warn you, you'd better stop whatever plans you have to interfere in my life because you'll not like what is coming."
