Kapitel 59: The show

ALL AROUND THE UNDERWORLD

Closed screens blink open, those already open bleep into a gray screen. Everyone present to witness the phenomena instantly reach for their weapon, alert for any impending danger. Leaders of various groups, their subordinates, everyone in the underworld wait for what is to come.

First comes the sound of a jolly marching band, a symphony of drums, trumpets, lyres, flutes, and cymbals. Everyone's serious face turns to confusion. What is going on?

Suddenly, the gray screen blips, and then appears a picture of a comical drawing of a drama stage. The screen is in black and white. At the very top of the drawing appears the words "The Covenant's Promise: A Tale of Twisted Fate". 

A voice chimes in. First comes a man, his voice deep like a commentator's. He coughs before speaking.

"Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed people of the underworld. We thank you for sparing us some of your time to witness an event of a lifetime," he says.
