The weekend passed far too slowly. Ava was stuck inside for the most part because she didn't trust her new protectors alone with her apartment. She couldn't watch anything she wanted to watch either because she didn't want to give them weird ideas.
They ended up watching movies on the Hallmark channel when she wasn't teaching them very basic facts on how to fit into human society such as greetings, slang terms, and what was and was not appropriate to do in public. Not to mention how to operate household items such as the microwave and the shower.
She wondered if this was what being a kindergarten teacher felt like. If so, she had a newfound respect for kindergarten teachers. Their patience knew no bounds.
