Kapitel 72: Chapter 72

"You look like you just lost a million bucks." A hoarse-sounding voice suddenly spoke up from behind him.

After his encounter with Jules, going after her was the last thing on his mind. He believed that she needed time to cool off. He could not go up to her and expect a warm welcome.

Therefore, he opted to march to the stables, where he could expel all his pent-up energy. An hour with the horses would, without a doubt, release the tension in his body.

"I think I just did." He responded to his grandfather's philosophical comment. 

Technically, he could kiss goodbye to his multi-billion deal if he could not make this marriage work and failed to prove to Mr. McLarren that he was a family man.

But he also felt something else. Nevertheless, he believed he was not ready to analyze it, not just yet, as he took the horse reins and pulled the magnificent-looking animal out of the barn house.
