"Are you going somewhere, Ms. Jules?" Philip stopped in his footsteps along the hallway when he saw her exit the bedroom.

Typically, she did not have to tell anyone where she was going except for her son. But after living under this roof, she learned nothing past Philip's attention.

It was not that Philip was being nosy. It was just part of his job to know things. Damon trusted him with his household. Therefore, he had to know everything that happened under that roof.

"As a matter of fact... I am." She cheerfully informed the older man as she walked past him with a broad grin on her lips and infectious enthusiasm.

Her husband had left early, as usual. Damon said he had an urgent meeting at the office. But she did not mind. After last night's late evening activities, she believed they needed a few moments to be apart. Or else, they might have never left the bed until now.
