On the same day, the Lancheng Police Department sent people to Dao by plane. They brought information about the massacre with them. The most reliable evidence they had in their hands was the blood from the suspect left at that time. Through DNA comparison, it was the man that had just been caught in Dao.
"No wonder I was so uneasy when I drew blood from him," a police officer said. "I had such a big case on my back!"
The Lancheng police were happy to confirm that his identity was fake. The case had troubled them for a long time. After several months of investigation, they had not solved the case. That resulted in a lot of gossip, which compounded the problem. After nearly a year of silence, they had a new lead.
"Question him thoroughly," a lead Lancheng police offer said.
"He is an experienced one with a good mind," a Dao police officer said. "He hasn't slept for a day and a night, but he is still very strong-willed."
