The holy zone could be sustained for about two hours. What the elderly holy priest saw from the sky was a fatigued demon using its tail to repel an angel from heaven.

Parts of the angel's body would be damaged, but would then recover again under the effect of the holy zone. The demon was becoming weaker and would be killed by the angel sooner or later.

This was a trap commonly seen in the demon dimension. The supreme demons often pretended to be badly injured in order to lure a powerful demons to attack it. These powerful demons usually dwelled in the cities unless the devil commanded them to go to the wilderness. If they were to discover supreme demons, they would usually run for their lives.

The temptation to devour supreme demons was something that the demons could not resist. The trap was usually quite effective.
