Ye Chong's heart grew colder the farther he walked. The place was quiet, too quiet... He was able to discern the soft chirp in the woods at first, but now he heard nothing. It was so quiet that even the rustling he made upon stepping on the rotten leaves sounded ear-piercing.
His nerve was tensed, as alarmingly he looked around constantly.
The humidity of air chilled his chest. The forest grew denser as he walked on.
There were all sorts of plants, peculiarly disturbing, that it felt like a nightmarish visit to a botanical garden. The sun could never reach the place, yet the plants grew so well it was creepy.
The greenish leaves, the colorful flowers, alluring yet soul-taking.
Ye Chong's heart was racing. He took a look at the plants. His alchemy knowledge had convinced him to take a deep cold breath in fear.
Glitterbloom, Haemovine... Dartelion?

Glitterbloom - 天星花 (Sky Star Flower)
Flower is associated with bloom, and glitter could be imagined as the stars. I presumed it's some pretty looking yet deadly flowers that bloom like the stars in the sky?
Haemovine - 嗜血藤 (Like Blood Vine)
Blood is known as Haemoglobin, so I just put the fancy term of blood there
Dartelion - 箭齿叶 (Arrow Tooth/Blade Leaf)
Arrows are projectile and I thought of throwing stars which synonymously is known as "Dart", Dandelion is a plant, I just stuff Dart in, there ya go.
Pines of Spider Web - 蛛网棕 (Spider Web Pine)
Argentubus Arecales - 银管蓝斑丝棕 (Silver Tube Blue Stripe Lining Pine) To make it sound like an actual scientific name, I actually picked the scientific class of pine tree (Arecales) and combined with Latin of Silver (Argent) and tubes (Tubus).
Vinesack - 叶包树 (leaf bag tree)
