In the end, Xianling Sect joined forces with some other sects and took the opportunity while he was in seclusion to lay down the seal, keeping him within the Thousand Demons Gorge.

Guys! Some of you may be confused about the phrase about demons and virtues. In Chinese, there’s a saying that says that when an Exorcist grows stronger, the Demon grows 10 times stronger. Replacing the Exorcist with virtues, it kind of means that one has to always be vigilant about one’s own morals and thoughts because temptation is really easy to fall into and will always grow at a faster pace.
