/ Eastern / Plundering the Heavens
Zusammenfassung
Some say he is the bad apple in a basket, that he's rotting everything around him with disgrace and corruption.
Some say he is the biggest scum of the southern continent of Jambu, that he's colluding with the dark sects to cheat, steal, and commit all manner of atrocities.
Some say he is the most wanted playboy. "Lock your daughters at home to keep Fang Xing away!"
To all of those people, "That's right, I am that big rotten apple. Any problem with that?"

Schreiben Sie eine Rezension师兄, 师姐, etc are such easy terms to translate and important but yet they are used as pinyin. Every translator uses the English equivalent. I don't understand the logic of using pinyin. Also, many sects/locations names need to be translated in order to convey the meaning to English readers but sadly they have been kept in pinyin. It results in loosing some of the story which author wants to convey. Well, the story is good and I love the protagonist. I have read till Ch240 in raws and it's one of my favorite. I hope the translator would notice this and change certain terms for the benefit of readers.
This novel is good, too bad the pinyan makes reading this worse than getting an STD, seriously say "junior apprentice brother" like every other freaking translator, i can barely understand who they're talking about half the time due to the terrible pinyam.
Those 2 of 3 stars translation quality only goes to the editor since the grammar actually better than most novels on this site. As for "translator", seriously? You don't even translate Sanshu directly for readability? English readablity? Do you mean it's weird in Chinese? Because it's actually more confusing in english if you left it like that. So if there are actually 9 uncles you want us to remember Dashu, Ershu, Sanshu, Sishu and so on. And then Bobo, Dabo, Erbo, Sanbo, Sishu and so on. I'm fine with something like Xiantian, Houtian, Jianghu left as pinyin, but for something translate able like mere title is just confusing. Is this your way of "spreading culture"? By ****** it hard for new readers to follow the story and mistook title as character's name? Imagine what would happened if Three Kingdoms translated like this, keeping up with 2 names already hard enough for new readers. Do you want to say chinese culture is only about the language? If you want to ask us to remember all those pinyins to understand your culture then why don't you say to our face "learn mandarin and read this yourself".
(It's a continuation of Previous comment which I can't edit so...) 资质 means aptitude. The translator translate it to "zi'zhi" which I don't know even know if it's a word or not. See? The translator didn't did his homework. I find it disappointing to see such a good story being getting ruined. Please don't ruin such a good story.
Lets see. How to write a review... Ah Translator-san and Editor-san, you guys are amazing! The translation is great, the story is moving along nicely! However, I have some things I want to point out: You guys are extremely slow! If not for the awesomeness of your editor, I would rate you guys 2 out of 5 stars! Every other novels on webnovel has like, 200 chapters a day, but you guys? It takes years to get anything out! And then how dare you decrease your translation amount due to real life issues? Come on, keep up with the times! Then, the character design: how does a 10-year-old boy out drink a plump Taoist who constantly indulges in worldly pleasures? Most, if not all, of the characters are flat. You have the mischievous boy who plays by no one's rules but his own. There's the cold but aloof beauty. There's the beauty that's out to kill him. There's the handsome--but single-minded--guy who's against our MC. MC has a loyal dog---ahem--sidekick, who is there for comedic relief. When will they grow (personality wise)? I guess I should be thanking that our MC isn't a cultivation freak who sits in one place for 15 years to cultivate *cough*Wang Lin*cough*. Then, everyone's constantly howling. They're secretly werewolves in human skin, I tell you. Even that deadly Python Toad is no exception. The world is like any other "cultivating" worlds out there. There's a level structure that these worlds can't seem to escape. There's also a sect, and the sect hands out missions. People fly on swords and tries to earn cultivation resources. I guess it can't be help though, since you'll want to sell what works. I'll even bet $10 bucks that there will be a tournament arc. And then there will be "world-shaking" beauties with skins "as smooth as jade" and as "soft as silk". It's too bad you won't be able to bet with me. :P The story is great though! Our MC takes us off the conventional path. He doesn't behead everyone in sight, and he doesn't become the white knight either. Instead, he treads more by the twilight, pushing and pulling when needed to accomplish what he wants (doesn't care too much for the thoughts and opinions of others). My favorite part was when he decides to run with his fat friend, for no reason other than "you're suppose to run after you do something bad." I actually LMAO'd that time! So far, I hope the story keeps developing as to how it currently is. I don't want him to get any quick power ups, as it'll detract from the one thing that distinguishes this story apart from other cultivating novels. But, thank you very much, sir editor for taking your time to review this novel! :P Hi Myriea. I love your kid's picture. Makes me smile when I see him.
Spoiler enthüllenThis is one of my favorite novels on this site. The MC is not some boring rock like Linley (bring it on CD fans), but always manages to entertain with his shameless and rogue-like personality. A non-hypocritical anti-hero MC is quite unique in this genre. This novel is fast, easy-to-digest entertainment that is a step above others of its kind. The only downside is that release speed is below average and lots of pinyin is mixed into the translation that might put off some readers.
Recently chapters 1-25 have been retranslated so many of the previous complaints in reviews have been addressed. The novel has also returned to 5ch/wk. Having gotten that out of the way: This is a fun novel to read, it's full of interesting characters and the MC is memorable. It's very reminiscent of Chen Dong novels, with beast companions, anti-hero MCs, along with bits of humor sprinkled throughout the story. The translation & editing are very good. Leaps & bounds above most other QI novels. The TL team's retranslation of earlier chapters should be commended. They may not be the fastest, but their dedication to this novel is great! Definitely a hidden gem on webnovel.com that should get more attention!
Honestly, reading all the reviews I wasn't really expecting much.. But I was really surprised at how the translation does not really affect the story as much as I was led to believe. Most of them are basic and you can understand based on the words around it... Also Mc is very different compared to every other protagonist that I have read and is a genuine anti-hero.
You Guys should speed up updating rate Some times it gets really annoying with the cliffhangers ------------------------------------------------------------------
First of all this novel is good, most reviews are just focusing on the translation quality which is also judged unfairly. I mean using pinyins is not so bad, most readers here aren't even native english speakers and don't know every word, so when the translatator uses around 15 words without translating them where is the big problem? Fucking memorise them! Some idiot says it is unbearable to read, wtf it is not more than 20 words, which are properly explained. And the translation quality is much better than most novels here, also the updates are mostly constant even though the frequency is low. Anyway as far as the story goes it has many similarities to AWE, the protagonist is shameless and the plot is funny. The bandit past of the protagonist is refreshing and there is nothing really missing of this story(always talking about a wuxia setup). The world building seems promising but it is quite early to know how it will develop. All in all this novel deserves more attention, ofc i know it is tough to find the good stories in this site, here all have good scores, in novelupdates unfairly bad and the synopsis are terrible most times.
A great novel with a bandit MC and guess what I got Bandit in CR while reading this. And some fillers to make this review published. #GreatNovel #Smart&CunningMC #Mystery #AFatLackey #StartingPoint-Sect #AVerySensibleTranslatorWhoMakeTheReadersRememberThePinyinTermsSoWeCanFeelTheFeels I love those pinyins. Again

Great story and GREAT translation. I can only pity those arrogant English speakers, who thinks that all names and terms is to be translated on their native language, because it is English. I'm Ukrainian, and some terms like "shixiong" can't be translated in my native language, because we don't have any similar meaning at all. Same with English, I can guess. Your closest meaning can be damaged by your English meaning, that this word already hold in your mind. So I'm on your side, translator, thanks for your work. About uncles, there are nine of them, they have names, but all of them primarily called by their counter :) so this isn't a problem at all. Novel doesn't shows sings to fall into "It was indeed worthy some lame lvl/cauldron/technique/beast/pellet/etc.." without any plot or meaning. Nice novel. I've advertised it on my Facebook wall and turned off adBlocker on webnovel site. This is the measure of my great love)

Interesting read, with an MC who is easily triggered. Pinyin translation doesn't really affect the quality of the story in a negative way. You'll get used to the pinyin words real fast if you're open to new things, and I guess that's the translator's style of translating so there's no need to drop it just because a few pinyin words aren't your cup of tea.

Seriously translator? Are you that lazy? Shixiong, shidi, shijie, laoda and etc? We do not need the pinyin of these things. It causes the readers to put in unnecessary effort just to read this book. It's even worse for readers who are new to pinyin. How fucking lazy can you get? Won't give you a five star rating until you update all of them from chapter 1 onwards.
