Kapitel 4: 'A GOOD DAY IS SEEN IN THE MORNING'

Mike woke up late the following day. It was almost noon. His bed was completely wet. "What a mess!" he exclaimed. Could it be a bed wet? No, he had never bed wetted in his entire life. It had already happened, and he had to clear up the mess. The sun had exaggerated its rays through the window. The birds could be heard singing melodiously in unison. Mike stretched up and sat on the bed. He felt so exhausted. He had battled for a long time in the dream.

After a short period of meditation, he stood up, walked slowly to the main door. He was welcomed by a sweet aroma from the neighborhood, an aroma that made it difficult for him to ignore salivation. He opened his door wide, took a stool and sat in the direct sunlight to bask. He really enjoyed the warmth that came along.

Mike spent time basking in the sun. His neighbor approached, "Hello, how are you my neighbor". A voice was heard. He quickly replied, "I'm perfect". The neighbor tried to find a place to sit, one meter from where Mike was sitting. He sat on a stone, trying to engage in a conversation with Mike.

"What was wrong at your place last night?" the neighbor asked. "You have been screaming all night, were you attacked or inflicted with pain. I mean..., there must be ...." the neighbor asked. His eyes were glued on Mike, trying to read through his facial expressions. Mike could not utter a word at first. He did not know how he could best explain it to him. The neighbor seemed very concerned.

"A ghost, my neighbor", Mike finally responded. "What are you saying? A ghost! What did the ghost do or how did it related. The neighbor sought more explanation? Mike found it difficult to explain, but when the neighbor insisted, he just had to find a way to communicate.

"You know a ghost. I was attacked by a ghost, my neighbor. The ghost just came my way", Mike How. "You mean a ghost appeared to you? How was its appearance? Was it made of mud? Like I need to understand?" the neighbor added.

"No, it was a dream, a beautiful lady appeared. I had to follow her like a man. I managed to approach her after several attempts and convinced her. Later, I realized that it was not a human being. It was a ghost, a very stubborn one. That was the reason I had strained all night, fighting it," Mike explained.

"How did you know it was a ghost?" the neighbor asked. The question did not sound good to Mike. He was agitated by the question. He thought the neighbor had come to make fun of him. "Listen, if you have any intention of mocking me, please just leave, I don't want any more conversation with you" Mike was

rned him

"Details, just understand me, I will not ask for details, just narrate what you have" the neighbor said. The neighbor was very interested in the narration as it had caught all his attention. The neighbor was all ears, keenly listening, although now restricted and could not ask more questions again.

"Earlier, I had approached a lady called Sasha. Surprisingly, the ghost first appeared in her form. I even called it Sasha and it responded. I tell you the ghost really tortured me, being squeezed against a huge tree. I also had no option but to kiss an ugly ghost. The more I resisted, the more it kissed me. Before then, we battle in a running battle, as I tried to escape from it", Mike added.

The neighbor could not hold on, he had tried to avoid laughing for some time. The narration really seemed funny. Now trying to hide his face from Mike, he let out a thunderous laugh, a laugh that looked like a moke. "You see, even ghosts have known that the only way to find you is through women. I have been guiding you to be careful with them, but it all fell on deaf ears. You will have no other option but have the ghost as part and parcel of you" the neighbor, who spoke with a persistent laugh.

Mike's fury reached the brim. He walked up, held the neighbor tight and kicked him hard, forcefully pushing him away. The neighbor found himself on top of the roof. He did not know how it happened, he just found himself there. It must have been a hard kick, very powerful indeed.

Other neighbors heard a loud bang. They went out to witness, only to find one of their own on top of the roof. What must have transpired? They really wondered how it all happened. Someone is sympathizing on the rooftop, the other one busy on the phone. They collectively joined hands to have him rescued from the rooftop.

The man was lowered, but he had no strength anymore. He was offered a jug full of porridge before he regained some strength. He walked slowly to his room and sat on a coach.

Mike walked into his room. He was very worried. The neighbors' anger boils up. He needs to hide for safety reasons. He locks his door from inside, then goes to the kitchen. His stomach was crumbling, he had not eaten for long.

Mike peeled the sweet potatoes, carefully placed a pot on fire to boil them. Meanwhile, he rushed to the washroom to take a cold refreshing shower. By the time he was done showering, the potatoes were ready. He served them hot with a cup of porridge.

While he sat down enjoying his meal, someone knocked at the door. He rushed to go and confirm. He looked through the window, only to find out that it was his neighbor, the one he had kicked hard earlier. The neighbor had a sharp machete with him, signifying a serious confrontation ahead. Mike ignored him, went on to enjoy his meal.

Mike went to his bedroom. The bedding was in a bad situation, completely wet. He had to take them out to dry. But now an enemy was around. He went to confirm if he was still around. He found the neighbor still standing at his doorstep, but showed a sign that he would surrender soon.

Thirty minutes later, he carries his bedding on his back, struggling till he spread it in the direct sunlight.

Mike took his phone and called the neighbor whom they had a difference with. He apologized for what had happened. At first the neighbor ignored him, but later forgave him when he insisted. He was now free in the neighborhood.

Mike had eaten to capacity. He sat on the coach to rest.
