Kapitel 22: 22 Orion Bloodworth

"What do you mean, doctor?" Dominic's brows raised, his fingers trembling.

Doctor Santiago nodded gravely. "We performed a computed tomography (CT) scan on her and discovered hematoma. We found a collection of blood outside her blood vessels."

"What do we do now, Doc?"

"She would be operated on but that would be after she is delivered of her baby when the risks of the fetus are lower." Doctor Santiago advised. He continued, "She has to be hospitalised for close monitoring and treatment."

Dominic walked into Celine's hospital room, his heart heavy with concern.

He approached her bedside, taking in her pale complexion and the array of machines beeping around her. Celine's eyes were closed, and her chest rose and fell with each gentle breath.

Dominic's eyes scanned the machines, trying to make sense of the numbers and readings. He spotted a nurse standing in the corner, monitoring Celine's condition.
