Kapitel 48: Chapter 48: Speed Enhanced to the Extreme
In just a few seconds, Haku was electrocuted by the Lightning Style technique, his body scorched inside and out. He collapsed to the ground, darkened by the intense electrical discharge.
At the same time, Zabuza leapt out of the flames, his condition not much better than Haku's. His Executioner's Blade had suffered significant damage, with one corner blown apart. The explosion of the explosive tag, which had been affixed to the blade, had dealt a critical blow to the weapon.

As Zabuza stood there, racking his brain for a solution, Sasuke had no intention of waiting. He raised his hand, drawing another kunai. This time, Sasuke aimed to end the fight completely.

Having witnessed the terrifying speed of Lightning Style: Godspeed before, Zabuza knew just how unstoppable Sasuke's next attack would be. The only strategy left was to endure endure until the boy's chakra ran dry.
"However! This time is going to be different!"
Sasuke smiled.
This time, Sasuke had no intention of activating Swift Thunder.
There was no need for it.
With his base speed now significantly enhanced, Swift Thunder was unnecessary.
To deal with Zabuza as he was now, a move like Lightning Flash would suffice.

At his chest, a massive, gaping wound had appeared without his realizing it.
Blood gushed out uncontrollably.
And soon, Zabuza felt his strength rapidly draining away.
To be precise, his very life force was fading.

When did Sasuke strike?
When had he been hit?
The speed was so great that even the pain hadn't registered until it was too late.

Haku's trembling voice broke the silence. Sasuke glanced toward him.
Zabuza had been instantly killed by Sasuke's attack.

Dragging his injured body, Haku slowly crawled toward Zabuza.
When he reached Zabuza's side, lying in a pool of blood, a smile appeared on Haku's face.
"At last... you can rest now... Zabuza-sama..."
By then, Sasuke had already turned and left.
What Haku wanted to do or how he chose to act was his decision to make.
Though Sasuke felt some sympathy for him, another's life was theirs to control.
