"What do you mean by that?" Kai was taken aback.

"I mean, if you want to evolve, you can do it anytime, anywhere!"

As Gastly spoke, its body was suddenly surrounded by a bright light. When the light faded, a new Pokémon appeared before Kai.

Kai was stunned.

Without any warning, Gastly had evolved into a Haunter!

Compared to its previous form, Haunter's rounded body had transformed significantly.

The purple mist that once surrounded Gastly was gone, replaced by three jagged, spike-like protrusions on each side.

Two disembodied claws floated in mid-air, no longer attached to its body.

"Wait, you just evolved like that? How did you do it?" Kai asked, his mouth hanging open.

"What's the big deal?" Haunter replied casually, flexing its floating claws and testing their movement. "I could evolve further right now if I wanted to!"

"Stop, stop!" Kai interrupted quickly. "Evolving too fast isn't a good thing. You should get used to this new body first."

Kai then turned his attention back to the Magikarp.

"That said, even though I'm thrilled you evolved, the issue with Magikarp isn't resolved yet. Hey, Haunter, see if you can communicate with it!"

"Me? Talk to that?" Haunter's face twisted in disbelief. Nevertheless, it floated over to Magikarp, staring intently.

Its mouth moved as if speaking, but after a while, it returned, shaking its head.

"Nope. That thing's brain seems completely empty. I can't figure out what it's thinking at all!"

Kai frowned but said nothing. Sensing Kai's frustration, Haunter tried to analyze the situation.

"Look, if it's close to evolving but stuck at the critical point, it's probably missing some experience or a trigger. A battle should do the trick. That ought to give it the push it needs."

"Experience? A trigger?" Kai's eyes lit up as inspiration struck him.

Seeing Kai's expression, Haunter looked surprised. "Wait, you're not serious. Are you going to make it a battle? That thing can't do anything but Splash! It'll just get beaten up & it's too dumb for a battle!"

"Don't worry about that!" Kai said confidently. "I've got an idea. Everyone spread out and see if you can find a wild Pokémon nearby!"

They were near a river bend, with a small forest not far away. Kai's Pokémon began searching, and soon Kirlia found a Bug-type Pokémon Weedle; resting on a tree trunk.

Kirlia let out a soft cry, and when Kai arrived, he examined the Weedle and nodded in satisfaction.

"A Weedle? Perfect. Everyone, surround it! Don't let it escape!"

Though puzzled, the Pokémon obeyed, encircling the Weedle and cutting off its escape routes.

Once everything was in place, Kai gave Charmander an order. "Charmander, use Ember!"

Charmander approached quietly, inhaled deeply, and unleashed a burst of embers at the unsuspecting Weedle. The flames engulfed it instantly.

It's super effective!

"Magikarp, now it's your turn!" Kai declared, picking up the flopping fish. Holding it high, he shouted, "Let's show Weedle our combo move Flopping Smash!"

Kai swung Magikarp downward with all his might, slamming it into Weedle. A loud thud echoed as the two Pokémon collided.

Weedle was shaken but not yet defeated. Kai raised an eyebrow.

"Huh? Still standing? You're tougher than you look! But that's fine. Magikarp, let's do it again!"

This time, the impact was too much for Weedle, who fainted. At the same time, Magikarp began to glow brilliantly.

"Yes! It's happening!" Kai exclaimed.

With a triumphant roar, Magikarp evolved into a Gyarados!

Kai quickly checked the Pokédex.

Pokédex: "Gyarados, the Atrocious Pokémon. Water and Flying-type. The evolved form of Magikarp. Gyarados has an extremely violent temperament. Its steel-like scales and razor-sharp teeth can crush rocks. When enraged, it causes devastation, burning everything in its path even during a storm."

The newly evolved Pokémon stood over six meters long, its back a fierce Red, with a light yellow underbelly.

A three-spiked crest adorned its head, and two long whiskers framed its face. Its massive mouth and glaring eyes radiated perpetual fury.

"GYAAAAARRRRR!!!"

Despite the successful evolution, Gyarados didn't seem calm. It roared and thrashed wildly, launching an indiscriminate attack on its surroundings.

"Hey! What's wrong with this guy's head?" Haunter exclaimed, flying out of Gyarados's rampaging path. "Did you break it by throwing it?"

"Idiot! Don't spout nonsense!" Kai yelled, retreating to a safe distance. "Didn't you hear the Pokédex? It's just naturally aggressive! It's a Pokemon version of Broly!"

"Now, Who the fuck is Broly! Then what do we do now?" Haunter asked. "Wait for it to calm down?"

"Of course not! We worked hard to evolve it. No way, we're giving up now!" Kai waved a hand forward. "Okay, everyone! Show this disobedient Gyarados who's boss! If it attacks its trainer and friends, it's time for some discipline, let's start our Gangbang!"
