Kapitel 348: Chapter 348

Seeing this news, all the gods became excited. The ceremony of promoting a god to a Supreme God was a rare and grand event.

Such a 'festival' was unimaginable for lower-level gods. More than 90% of gods had never even seen a banquet of gods of this magnitude, let alone participated in it. However, what disappointed the lower-ranking gods was that only upper-ranking gods were eligible to attend the ceremony.

The gods who had just been promoted to high-ranking were ecstatic, while the others were left feeling somewhat disappointed. It made sense, after all; the promotion ceremony of a Supreme God had its own exclusive threshold.

In the current "Teyvat Universe," becoming a higher god marked a significant step towards a new realm. The "high-ranking god" was the embodiment of rules and concepts.

All the major gods began preparing gifts to participate in the 'Promotion Ceremony' of the Great Dendro Archon.

**Sumeru**

Since the founding of this nation, this ceremony was destined to be the most spectacular and grandest event in its history. The people of Sumeru knew that their supreme god was about to ascend to the next level of divinity, and they spontaneously joined in preparation for the event.

The people's devotion to the Great Dendro Archon was beyond question. The entire nation was immersed in cheers and joyous celebration. Under the influence of the gods of the "Sumeru Pantheon," even the elemental beings residing in Sumeru rejoiced and sent their blessings to the gods of this land.

Powerful elemental beings had already taken human form, and even the weaker elemental beings displayed intelligence—some were able to communicate freely with humans.

Sumeru City had been lavishly decorated by the people, with colorful banners hanging everywhere, and pleasant music filling every street and alley. The atmosphere was alive with joy and celebration.

**Avidya Forest Palace**

The Great Dendro Archon was about to be promoted to Supreme God. Of course, Takumi would be there—after all, the Dendro Archon was one of his wives.

Takumi walked into the Avidya Forest Palace. The palace remained unchanged, preserving its precious significance to the Great Dendro Archon, as she did not wish for it to be rebuilt.

Nahida's eyes softened as she saw Takumi walking in. Her eyes, shaped like four-leaf clovers, became gentler, and her voice was pleasant and sweet. "You're here, my love. Have you come for my ceremony?"

Takumi opened his arms, and Nahida happily leaned in, embracing him obediently.

Takumi gently stroked her white-to-green hair, as if he were petting a kitten. "Of course, I came for the ceremony. My beloved is about to ascend; how could I miss such an event?"

"Besides, you know me—I wouldn't miss something as grand as this." Having said this, he teasingly nipped at Nahida's ear. "You're even better than me at hosting such events for the gods. I've never organized anything like this."

Nahida's cheeks turned slightly red. Even though she and Takumi had shared everything, such intimacy still made her feel shy. "Then, have I committed a transgression?"

Takumi cherished her deeply, but her obedience was always a must.

Takumi let go of her ear, lifting her chin. "Of course, it's an unforgivable crime." He chuckled, pecking her lips lightly.

At that moment, Nahida, who had been assigning tasks to the other gods of Sumeru, entered the palace. Just as she was about to speak to Nahida, she saw Takumi holding the Great Dendro Archon intimately.

Takumi released Nahida and turned to look at the younger Archon, whose gaze was fixed on him with a gentle smile on her lips.

"Nahida, you've grown so much since last time," Takumi said. "You've reached the level of a first-level main god. If not for your young age, you could have been the next high god after your elder self."

For both Nahida and the Great Dendro Archon, Takumi had not opened many "shortcuts." He did not even allow Mio to reveal the truth to them outright. The achievements of both Nahida and the Great Dendro Archon were entirely the result of their hard work. After all, having a good relationship with the Holy Spirit meant it was only natural for them to receive some help along the way.

Nahida walked up to Takumi, holding his hand gently and raising her head, her eyes a light shade of green. Though she knew much of the world now, and had gained wisdom and knowledge, her gaze still held pure innocence.

"Master Takumi, I have been studying tirelessly to meet your expectations," she said. "And now, I've broken through the limits of my former self."

With that, Nahida closed her eyes as a gentle green light enveloped her. Her small, ten-year-old form began to grow—she was soon fifteen or sixteen years old, and looked almost exactly like the Great Dendro Archon. The only difference was that the leaves by her ears were on the opposite sides.

"Master Takumi..." Nahida slowly opened her eyes. Though her appearance resembled her elder self, her innocence still shone through. Her voice was similar, but there were differences.

Takumi looked at the grown-up Nahida, wrapping an arm around each of the twin-like goddesses' waists.

"You've understood the 'Supreme Mystery.' The truth is indeed a power that transcends everything. But as you grow, Nahida, I shall take good care of you." He leaned down and playfully bit Nahida's neck, letting the scent of the World Tree fill the air.

Nahida let out a small, cute sound. "Master Takumi, I understand. Please, pamper me like you do the Great Dendro Archon."

She had waited long for this moment.

Takumi smiled, picking her up and walking to the place where Nahida rested. Nahida, seeing this, followed joyfully—for her, Nahida was a part of her. If Takumi loved Nahida, then he loved her, and vice versa.

"Nahida, come join us."

"Yes, Master Takumi."

The door to Avidya Forest Palace closed behind them.

Sumeru City rejoiced, and Avidya Forest Palace did as well.

Gods from all across Sumeru were on their way; after all, the ceremony would be held the next day. The world of Teyvat was vast and sprawling.

The following day, on March 7, the doors of Avidya Forest Palace opened, and Takumi walked out, refreshed, followed by Nahida and the Great Dendro Archon.

Nahida had returned to her ten-year-old form. Though she had temporarily taken on a more mature appearance, Takumi preferred her youthful innocence.

Takumi smiled as he looked at the falling stars arriving from all directions, heralding the arrival of the gods.

"The gods are arriving one by one," he said. "This is your moment. I'll be watching from the audience—I'm not suited for events like this."

If Takumi were to appear as the embodiment of natural order, the ceremony would be overwhelmed by his presence.

Moreover, with his immense strength and power, only gods of the first-level main god or above were worthy of sitting with him as equals. The rest simply weren't qualified.
