Mio blinked. "You want me to lead the Bible pantheon? But I've never managed a pantheon before."
Takumi smiled. "You were born for it, and you don't need to manage it too much. Angels will manage themselves naturally."
"Oh, by the way, there are conditions for the angels to enter my 'Garden of Eden.'"
As his soulmate, Mio understood his intentions. Only the purest female angels could enter the Garden.
Mio smiled and nodded. "It just so happens that the little angels need adult angels to teach them."
She blinked and added, "I think Gabriel is quite suitable, don't you think, my Lord Tianli?"
"Hmm... Gabriel." Takumi grinned. Mio certainly knew his thoughts well.
As they spoke, the surroundings transformed into Takumi's residence—a vast space resembling a small world. Suspended in the air was an enormous book, with countless holy symbols floating out from its pages before returning back.
Everyone was taken aback. When had such a massive book appeared in the house?
The elves, being part of the 'Kabbalah' camp, did not grasp the concept of this book. However, Fanes, who was at the head of the 'Alaya' camp, stared at the book, her eyes wide open.
The power she was born with—the "power of the human world"—was the power of all human desires woven into trials. It was an "omnipotent power" that could transform everything, and she sensed this very power emanating from the book. It was a power so immense that it could instantly subvert everything within the "Teyvat Universe."
Well, not everything—to be precise, everything affected by humanity.
Before she could ask, Takumi spoke, addressing her.
"This is the 'History of Time,' the ultimate authority over human history. Human history is pan-human history—encompassing all histories related to humans, planetary history, life history, the histories of gods, elves, giants, dwarves, and so on."
"Now, 'human history' runs through the entire 'Teyvat Universe.' Anything influenced by humanity will be recorded in this book."
"All pantheons in Teyvat today are deeply influenced by it. The rise and fall of the pantheon, and the power over the life and death of gods below the Supreme God level—all are dictated by this book."
Takumi's lips curled upward as his eyes glimmered.
"Since 'human history' and the concept of time and space envelop the 'Teyvat Universe,' a certain cycle exists. Do you know what it is?"
He looked at Fanes and Mio as he spoke.
The 'History of Time' was the authority of the 'Holy God,' and only they, along with a new member of the 'Teyvat Universe' known as the Red Dragon God Emperor—the 'Infinite Dragon God,' who was currently sleeping in the Sub-Zero Gap—could understand its meaning.
Fanes trembled slightly, her eyes turning golden, and spoke as if drawn by an irresistible force.
"Human belief and historical changes lead to the birth of gods. When gods become powerful, they create humans and guide them in developing civilizations. Human civilization, upon reaching certain heights, spurs belief and technology, prompting the emergence of new gods."
"This creates a circular paradox. This is 'human history,' and this is the power of this 'authority.'"
This type of thought had already been proposed by philosophers in the modern era and was no secret. Those who understood mysticism would have similar musings.
Mio asked, "Then, which came first, humans or gods?"
Istaru held her head. "Oh, this topic is going to give me a headache!"
Tokisaki Kurumi blinked at Takumi. "Then, Lord Tianli, which came first: humans or gods?"
Takumi shrugged. "I don't know. But if there must be an answer in my Teyvat universe, then both exist simultaneously."
He waved toward the 'Book of History.'
The 'Book of History' glowed, transforming into a smaller notebook that appeared in Takumi's hand. He passed it to Fanes.
"From now on, 'human history' is yours to protect."
Fanes excitedly held up the 'Book of History.' "I will protect it."
This was the 'ultimate answer' she had sought—an answer that had come to her rather than the other way around.
Takumi smiled at Fanes, who trembled slightly with excitement. He patted her on the backside and squeezed gently.
"You know, our relationship has come full circle."
"I came to Teyvat, took the power you left behind, and now I return to you even greater power."
Fanes snapped out of her reverie, her eyes shining with something akin to happiness she had never felt before. She opened her mouth to say 'thank you,' but knew those words did not suit her relationship with Takumi.
Takumi teased her. "If you want to thank me, then indulge me in our 'game.'"
Fanes remembered the last time and felt her cheeks redden, something she had never cared about before.
Istaru whispered quietly from the side.
"The 'History of Time,' what a powerful authority—affecting everything below the Supreme God. Tsk, tsk, the gods who used to fear you must be terrified now."
Not all gods were afraid of Fanes; only the original gods of Teyvat knew her true power. The new gods and those newly added to Teyvat had yet to witness her strength; they feared only the power that the 'Holy God' status bestowed.
After bestowing the 'authority,' Takumi activated the 'Cosmic Center' to rank everyone according to their merit.
The ranks in the Teyvat universe were divided into three categories: "strength," "realm," and "merit." Only those who excelled in all three could be promoted.
There were currently only two Holy Gods: Fanes and Mio.
First-level Supreme Gods included: Asmodeus, the 'Ruler of Space'; Istaru, the 'Ruler of Time'; Baal, the 'Ruler of Life'; and Paimon, the 'Ruler of Death.' (As a dependent of heaven, they were naturally assigned control over the universe's rules).
The Red Dragon God Emperor, the Infinite Dragon God, shared a quality of truth with Teyvat. It would take time for them to adapt to the Teyvat universe before their promotion to Holy God.
Level 2 Supreme God: "Ice Ruler" (Good King Zhao) Esdeath.
Level 3 Supreme Gods included: The Great Merciful Tree King (soon to be promoted) and Abyss Monarch 'Aether.'
First-Level Main Gods included: Morax, Barbatos, Furina, Raiden Makoto, Raiden Ei, Nahida, Navilite, and the Dragon King of Rudo.
Second-Level Main Gods included: Barnabas, Odin, Shiva, Nyx, Shakti, and others.
Third-Level Main Gods included: 'Forest God' Vida and Sun Goddess Wei Zhao.
Superior Gods included: 'Goddess of Victory' Athena, 'Grass Dragon King' Apep, 'Goddess of Stoves' Marcusius, and others.
One by one, the rankings were finalized.
The 'Cosmic Center' appeared like an aurora pillar extending from Sky Island through the entire 'Teyvat Universe.' The 'rules,' 'truth,' and 'concepts' of the universe—along with 'human history,' 'the seat of destiny,' and 'reincarnation'—were all mobilized as rewards were distributed to the 'gods' of Teyvat.
Colorful aurora transformed into meteors, descending toward the main world of Teyvat and across various realms of time and space.
