Underworld
Maricata, the Flower God, sat on the 'Pluto's Throne' and looked at the gods gathered in the temple.
The 'Salt God' Heulia sat on the seat of the 'Deputy Lord of the Underworld'.
Immortal Fairy Ling Yue stepped forward and gave a slight bow. "All the gods and messengers from the underworld have arrived. Please give your instructions."
All the gods had a blazing fire in their eyes. This was a significant mission that would affect their future.
Although it was easiest to earn merit in the 'underworld', who could refuse the chance of exaggerated promotion after the mission? Who wouldn't want to become a superior god, or even a 'main god'?
The 'Main God' was the leader of a divine lineage, the 'King of Gods'. Who wouldn't want to become the 'King of Gods'?
Maricata said, "There is no room for error in the operation of the underworld. I must be here to oversee it. This mission will be led by the 'Salt God'. Is there any problem with Immortal Fairy Ling Yue being the team leader?"
Immortal Fairy Ling Yue raised her head with an extremely confident smile. "No problem at all, Lord Maricata."
Maricata nodded. "I hope you return as at least a middle god, and if possible, try your best to become a high god. Only as an upper god will you be barely qualified."
The other gods thought that 'Lord Pluto' was referring to Ling Yue taking on important responsibilities in the underworld. But only Heulia and Immortal Fairy Ling Yue knew Maricata was talking about the qualifications to enter the 'courtyard' and stand beside Heaven.
Fairy Ling Yue's eyes were sharp. "Yes, I understand."
She had her aspirations. Before becoming a god, she didn't understand the vast distance between gods and Heaven. Now it was clear: the gap between lower gods and the laws of nature was wider than that between the weakest mortals and the gods. Even if the 'Main God' tried her best, Heaven might not even glance down. How lucky she was.
Immortal Fairy Ling Yue knew she had something to strive for. Master Tianli had reserved the position of 'Lord God of the Moon' for her. If she didn't work hard, the 'Main God's Throne' would certainly be given to other gods.
Heulia stood up and waved her hand, opening the door for the gods from the underworld in the hall. She was no longer the weak god she used to be. Though still at the bottom of the 'Main Gods', she had reached the 'Great Country Level'. The 'Rule of Salt' might have been weak, but she had complete mastery of it.
She had a certain influence on various aspects of Teyvat's universe. There were legends in the lower realms that evil people would be turned into salt and stand forever in the underworld to suffer. She also played an important role in life, as salt was essential for human life, and the sea itself was 'salt water'.
"Set off!"
The collision of the gods' fighting spirits condensed into a shadow of flames. You could imagine how high-spirited they were.
**Holy Area**
Doors were opened one after another, and armies of gods from each divine realm walked out.
Every god was dressed in divine attire, and the divine power they released cast a colorful aurora across the 'God's Domain'. Behind the army of gods were groups of 'quasi-gods' and 'god eye holders' who had not yet joined the divine system.
Under the leadership of the Main Gods, the gods came to the 'Sky Island' at the core of the divine domain. Here, they could clearly see the strength of each main god's series.
The lower gods observed one another. For these new gods from the lower world, this was a chance to see which of the main gods had grown stronger.
After all, the ranking of the 'god lineages' did not necessarily mean 'influence'. Some 'main gods' might not be at the forefront in terms of strength, but they were highly influential and had many followers.
The 'Liyue family' led by Morax was evidently the most powerful, with three 'main gods', one high god, and dozens of lower gods. This was followed by Inazuma, Fontaine, and Sumeru. The weakest one was Mondstadt; aside from Jean, who had just become a god, there were only a few 'God's Eye holders', and none were even demigods.
Venti had a saddened look on her face. Seeing the Tsaritsa, she felt a sense of camaraderie with someone else at the back of the ranks.
"The Tsaritsa and I are the weakest gods. I am merely one of them, while her followers are all 'quasi-gods'."
When Barnabas saw that Venti was drawing attention to their shortcomings, she huffed and turned her head. "Hmph."
Venti spread her hands helplessly, saying she didn't mean to offend.
"Who said you two are the weakest? I am the worst, okay!"
Lumine walked over with a frustrated expression, as if there was a dark cloud over her head.
"At least you both have subordinates. I'm the only main god without any followers. No one even wants to form a team with me, no matter how much I ask."
She looked expectantly at the leading teams of the Seven Gods, rubbing her hands together with a hopeful smile.
"Hey, Geo Archon, Anemo Archon, Electro Archon\~"
Venti was startled. "What are you up to? Just so you know, anything but poaching is on the table."
Zhongli, calm as ever, looked at the Sky Island and said, "I want to buy osmanthus wine\~"
Raiden Shogun smiled. "Traveler, my followers aren't willing to go with you."
The lower-level gods behind her looked left and right, but none of them looked at Lumine.
It was obvious which 'main god' had a future, and they weren't fools. Why would they work hard to start over with a 'main god' who had nothing?
Lumine smiled shamelessly. "I'm not poaching; I just want to form a team with you..."
Furina rolled her eyes. "I'm embarrassed to even point out your little schemes."
Suddenly, an ominous aura arrived, and all the gods turned to look.
Aether approached with an expressionless face, leading three 'higher god' abyssal demon gods and over twenty lower-level abyssal monsters.
Reindottir sat atop one of the god-level monsters, glancing nervously at the gate of 'Sky Island'.
Even Zhongli was surprised at seeing such a lineup that rivaled the 'Liyue Series'. The other gods were left even more astonished.
The 'Main Gods' knew that the 'Abyss' was now under Aether's jurisdiction, and they had seen the Abyssal Demon Gods before. However, they hadn't realized the Abyss had so many god-level monsters.
When they saw Reindottir, the Seven Major Gods felt reassured.
The other lower gods swallowed nervously.
'Is this the 'Abyss Series'?' they thought.
'The faction led by the Supreme God himself is indeed terrifying.'
This had to be just a part of their combat power.
The power of the abyss made them naturally wary of the 'Abyss Series'. Unconsciously, they tried to distance themself.
Aether looked down at his dejected sister. "My silly sister\~ If you can't manage, why not join the abyss and side with me?"
Lumine gave a look of disdain. "I'm not that desperate to be hanging around with you, someone who's hated by both people and gods. The abyss is obviously a villain's domain. How could I possibly make friends with these quasi-gods who just joined the divine system?"
At that moment, the gate to Sky Island opened.
Phanes led the five supreme gods of Sky Island out, looking down at the assembled gods. Her expression was indifferent.
"Now that everyone is here, we shall open the gate to the new world."
As she spoke, three golden light sources appeared in the land of the 'God's Domain'. Three massive 'gates', each over a thousand meters high, gradually appeared within the light.
One of the gates slowly opened.
Asmodeus and Esdeath stepped forward from behind Phanes. Esdeath grinned, and her queenly, domineering aura filled the area.
"All gods who are assigned to conquer 'One Punch Earth,' follow me. The army is set to advance—attack!"
