It was a perfect sunny day, and the Kardashian-Jenner family decided to take advantage of the weather with an outdoor lunch. Kim's outdoor area was set up with a long table covered in delicious dishes and floral arrangements.
Kim had invited her sisters, and Kendall took the opportunity to bring along some longtime friends, Gigi and Bella Hadid, as well as Hailey Bieber, who already knew the family but had yet to meet Tom.
Tom was helping Kim with the final preparations in the kitchen as the guests arrived. He looked completely at ease, wearing a light linen shirt and casual pants that highlighted his athletic build. He was a man who, in the eyes of many, only got better with age more elegant, more confident, and with a presence that didn't go unnoticed.
When they arrived, Gigi, Bella, and Hailey greeted the Kardashian-Jenner sisters and immediately noticed Tom in the kitchen with Kim. The three of them exchanged quick glances and discreet smiles, a little surprised by his appearance. He was clearly older, but with a distinct charm and confidence that only made him more attractive.
When Tom left the kitchen and joined the group to help arrange the places at the table, Kendall's three friends looked at each other, shy as teenagers. Kendall, observing her friends' reactions, found the situation amusing and approached Kim, smiling.
"Kim, look at this. My friends are acting like schoolgirls around your boyfriend." Kendall whispered, laughing.
Kim looked at the three, who were now trying to hide their obvious interest, and giggled.
"He really does cause that kind of reaction, doesn't he?" Kim joked, a little proud, but also a little shy about the situation.
Kendall nodded, still laughing.
"I've never seen Gigi, Bella, and Hailey so... dazzled like this." I think you found the secret, Kim," she said, winking at her sister.
Finally, Kim decided to officially introduce Tom to the three of them. He approached the group with a welcoming smile and shook hands with each of them, maintaining his usual calm and confident gaze.
"Girls, this is Tom. Tom, these are Kendall's friends, Gigi, Bella, and Hailey—who are practically part of the family now."
Tom smiled and greeted the three of them warmly, his British accent adding a touch of charm.
"It's so nice to meet you. Kendall always speaks highly of you," he said, shaking hands with each of them.
The three of them responded with a "nice to meet you" in unison, looking a little shyer than usual. Hailey, who was usually more laid-back, smiled a little blushing, while Gigi and Bella looked almost delighted.
Gigi was the first to try to hide her shyness, giving a wide smile and trying to break the ice.
— Kim and Kendall never mentioned that you were... so elegant, Tom — she said, unable to hide the tone of admiration in her voice.
Tom laughed politely, while Kendall just watched the scene, finding it all very funny.
— I think they're being kind, Gigi, but thank you — he replied modestly. — It's really nice to meet people who are so close to the family.
Bella, who had been watching in silence, finally spoke up.
— You know, Tom, Kendall told us a little about you, but I think there's still a lot we don't know. — She gave a playful smile. — It seems like you have a lot of stories to tell.
Kim, noticing Bella's interest, joined in the conversation.
— Oh, of course, Bella. Tom is full of stories, and the best part is that each one is even more interesting than the last.
Hailey took the opportunity to join the conversation, with an amused expression.
— So is it true what they're saying about you, Tom? Have you really worked in mysterious places around the world?
Tom just smiled, keeping his air of reserve.
"Let's just say I've had some pretty... different experiences over the years. But now I prefer adventures that are a little quieter," he replied, casting an affectionate glance at Kim.
The table was set, and everyone sat down to enjoy lunch. During the meal, the conversations were lively, and Tom ended up being the center of attention, even without wanting to. Gigi, Bella, and Hailey couldn't hide their curiosity and kept asking questions about his travels and experiences, although he kept a careful description.
"So, Tom," Gigi began, interested. "Of all these places you've been, which one was the most... impactful?"
Tom paused for a moment, thinking about his answer.
"I think each place has its own special story, but Afghanistan was particularly striking for me," he said. "Not only because of the circumstances, but because of the culture and the people. I learned a lot there."
Bella nodded, interested.
— It must have been an incredible experience, but also intense.
— Yes, it was. But the truth is that these experiences help us see the world in a much broader way. — He smiled, looking back at Kim. — And they make me appreciate what I have now even more.
Hailey, noticing the affection in Tom's eyes, commented with a smile.
— You two are so cute together, Kim. I can see that he makes you happy.
Kim smiled, grateful for Hailey's observation.
— He makes me really happy, yes. And he's great with the kids, which is the most important thing to me.
After lunch, everyone headed outside to continue enjoying the afternoon. Tom went for a walk with some of the kids, while Kim and her sisters watched from afar. Kendall's friends, however, couldn't take their eyes off him.
Kendall, realizing the situation, laughed and teased her friends.
— You guys look like teenagers. Come on, he's just my sister's boyfriend — she joked.
Bella shrugged, laughing.
— But you have to admit, Kendall, he is... impressive. He really has aged like wine.
Hailey laughed and looked at Kendall with a mischievous smile.
— I think you've met the bar, Kim. He's the kind of guy you wouldn't expect to see around you, but he seems tailor-made for you.
Gigi nodded, smiling at Kim.
— You're inspiring, Kim. I can tell he's something special.
Kim smiled, a little emotional.
— Thank you, girls. He really is special. Sometimes I look at him and still can't believe he's in my life.
As the afternoon drew to a close, everyone began to say their goodbyes. Kendall's friends thanked her for her hospitality and said goodbye to Kim and Tom with loving words.
As they were leaving, Hailey teased Tom.
"It was nice meeting you, Tom. I'll try not to be intimidated next time, I promise."
Tom laughed.
"I'm glad to hear that, Hailey. It was nice meeting you both too. Come back whenever you want."
After saying their goodbyes, Kim and Tom sat in silence for a moment, watching the sun begin to set. He hugged her, and she rested her head on his shoulder, feeling completely at peace.
"So now you're officially approved by Kendall's friends," Kim joked.
Tom laughed, kissing her forehead.
"I just hope you continue to approve too."
Kim smiled and looked into his eyes.
"More than approved."
