Opening the hatch, he leaned into the wind and stepped forward, letting gravity take over as he jumped.
"Luo Yuan!" Matori called out, startled.
She rushed to the hatch and poked her head out, only to see Luo Yuan falling, his arm raised in a confident thumbs-up.
Matori's worry hadn't even begun to set in before a flash of light appeared.
Luo Yuan's Dragapult materialized above him, catching his shoulders in its claws and descending gracefully towards the police station below.
"… Phew." Matori exhaled, her concerns easing.
This guy… he'll give me a heart attack one of these days…
She glanced over at Sabrina, who looked entirely unfazed.
"You weren't worried about Luo Yuan at all, were you?" Matori asked.
Sabrina looked puzzled. "Worried? Why would I be? Luo Yuan wouldn't jump unless he was confident. Besides, his psychic power is nearly on par with mine; he could easily hover mid-air if he had to."
