Kapitel 2: Chapter 1: My new life

The society of Japan in this world was very different from the one I knew from my previous life, although the good things were still there so adapting to this new life was not difficult to get used to a new lifestyle as a current three-year-old child.

My father is a low-ranking professional hero who has a quirk that allows him to induce sleep in people and my mother is a medical specialist with a quirk that allows her to see people's dreams when they sleep, leaving with my parents' two incomes a fairly comfortable life being a middle-high income family.

Being only a three-year-old child in development I cannot say much about my physical appearance, I am a boy a little smaller than other boys my age, but otherwise I am somewhat striking with my pale yellow hair, my rainbow-colored eyes and my pale skin that makes me look quite sickly despite being in good health, I also have some characteristic features of children my age, although perhaps a little more adorable than normal.

My hobbies at the moment are reading, which being a boy with a lot of free time was an activity that I used most of the times to understand this world, then I had the habit of trying all kinds of Japanese sweets that thanks to my special organism that my parents discovered did not affect me, I could fill myself with sweets as much as I wanted and the last thing that was left I spent on drawing, being my main hobby of my previous life.

Reading several books and watching news in this world I could see the difference with the original where everything developed as a much better environment than it was in reality, the society of this world is truly crap that can judge you just for having a gift that according to them is from villains.

It is very common to see the discrimination that people with villain gifts or kids with mutant quirks who did not have a good appearance can have, although also observing how the heroes took advantage of people in the original series was not only reinforced by seeing multiple heroes who converted to this cause for disgusting reasons and became scum worse than some villains.

In general you can see in children my age the few times I have interacted with them when I go to the park how society leaves them most of the time with stupid ideas or a horrible attitude, for example, kids who have already awakened their quirk and are somewhat good are treated like celebrities or popular without taking into account their attitude.

Fortunately, most of those above-average gifts are crap, and seeing the big picture, I'd put them as candidates for filler heroes in the original series.

I was eating some cherry candy rolls in my room while reading a book about ancient Japanese drawing techniques when my mother appeared at the door.

-Shinzen, you're busy, can we talk? - my mother said while looking at me sadly.

-Did something happen? - I say while my mother shakes her head - so what's wrong with you? You look worried - I say with a somewhat calm tone, leaving my usual animated way aside.

-We were talking to your father and we're worried about your lack of interaction with the other kids - my mother said, leaving me again with the same attitude as always - honey, what don't you like about them so much that you prefer to be in your room all the time.

-It's just that we don't share the same tastes- I say with my voice full of emotion while I put a candy roll in my mouth- boys my age only talk about heroes all the time and it's a boring topic that doesn't interest me, I'd rather read a good book than waste my time talking to them.

-And what do you think if I bring the daughter of one of my classmates, she's about your age and you two could get along- my mother said, awakening my curiosity- she's a girl named Reiko Yanagi and she also has little interaction with other boys your age, I talked to my friend about the subject and we thought it would be good for them to meet each other and maybe they could become friends.

Reiko Yanagi, the girl from the future class 1-b who had the gift of manipulating objects telekinetically with an approximate weight of that of an average person, if I remember she was a shy person who had a passion for horror things on the internet and was responsible for Itsuka Kendo's dress when she participated in the beauty pageant.

-Sure, it sounds good to meet someone my age - I say with my tone showing interest in the proposal - if she is interested in other topics other than heroes we could get along well.

-Okay then I'll ask my friend to come have coffee with me on Saturday and bring her daughter so you can meet her - my mother said before getting a little happy about my interest in meeting someone my age - I'll leave you with your book then.

My mother left leaving me there with some thoughts, according to what I remember of Reiko in the original series, she was a pretty quiet and shy girl so it shouldn't be difficult to get along with her, plus it would be exciting to be a childhood friend of one of the people who would be protagonists in the UA academy for her participation as a member of the battles against All For One's army and if I manage to get in, be someone to spend time with.

-We started a little early to have a connection with the characters of the main story - I say excited to wait for Saturday.
