As Bo Saixi swallowed the pill, a searing heat erupted in her chest, spreading rapidly throughout her body. Her hands clenched the edges of the bed as sweat poured down her face, and her breathing grew ragged. The pain was unlike anything she had ever experienced, but she gritted her teeth, refusing to scream.
"This is nothing," she muttered through gritted teeth, her resolve unwavering. "I've endured worse—years of mental chains, the suffocating grip of servitude. I won't break now."
The burning sensation intensified, as if her very blood was being purified, her spirit reshaped. Her vision blurred, her muscles tensed, and yet, amidst the agony, she felt something deep within her begin to shift—a core strength awakening, raw and untamed.
Hours passed, or so it seemed to her. When the pain finally began to subside, Bo Saixi collapsed onto the bed, her chest heaving. She felt lightheaded, but at the same time, a strange sense of power coursed through her veins. Slowly sitting up, she looked at her hands. They felt stronger, steadier, and more alive than ever before.
"So, this is what it means to start over," she whispered to herself, a small smile tugging at her lips.
She soon fell unconscious, as the toll took over her.
Meanwhile, in the other rooms, Bibi Dong and Liu Erlong sat in silence, the weight of Bo Saixi's words hanging over them like a storm cloud.
"She's right," Bibi Dong finally admitted, her voice subdued. "For so long, I was nothing but a tool for others. Whether it was Spirit Hall or that so-called divine path, my life was dictated by forces beyond my control." She clenched her fists, anger flashing in her eyes. "I won't let it happen again."
Liu Erlong nodded, her expression conflicted. "Yuan's methods may be unorthodox, but he's not lying. If enduring pain is the price to take control of our destinies, then so be it."
With silent determination, the two women stood, each holding their pill. Without another word, they parted ways, retreating to their rooms to face their own trials.
As the night wore on, the inn was quiet, save for the faint sounds of muffled groans and the occasional crash of furniture as the three women endured their transformations. By morning, the air felt charged with a newfound energy.
Bo Saixi, Bibi Dong, and Liu Erlong emerged from their rooms, their gazes sharper, their auras stronger. They exchanged looks, a silent understanding passing between them.
They each have their own goal and they will not interfere with each other.
They arrived at the house, where a butler led them in. Inside, they saw Yuan sparring with the two girls they had noticed with him the previous day. The trio was practicing intensely, and from the looks of it, their sparring sessions were rigorous and disciplined.
Seeing them entering they stopped as they looked at them.
Sisi observed the three girls for a moment before nodding to herself. "You three have advanced. So, how many cycles did you endure?" she asked as she looked at them with curiosity.
"I endured nine," Bo Saixi answered confidently.
Bibi Dong followed up with the same answer, "Nine as well."
Liu Erlong, however, hesitated before admitting, "Only five."
"That's still impressive," Bo Saixi reassured her with a slight smile.
"Indeed," Yuan added as he approached, overhearing their conversation. "So, tell me, what are your Martial Spirits now?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.
Bo Saixi stepped forward and was the first to respond. "My Martial Spirit used to be a simple harpoon. But now, I have two Martial Spirits, thanks to the pill you gave me," she said, her tone steady.
Yuan raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Two? You mean you awakened another one?"
"Yes," Bo Saixi replied, nodding. "The first is now called the Dragon Harpoon, and my second Martial Spirit is Sea Queen."
Yuan's expression turned thoughtful as he processed this. "Both of your Martial Spirits are unheard of, but they could have existed in ancient times. The pill I refined awakens dormant bloodlines, so it's possible these spirits come from your ancestors," he explained.
Bo Saixi nodded in agreement as Yuan turned his attention to Bibi Dong and Liu Erlong. "What about you two?"
Bibi Dong spoke first. "My Martial Spirits are now called Silk Empress and Abyss Severing Scythe."
Liu Erlong followed, saying, "Mine are Fire Drake and Red Dragon Spear."
Yuan nodded approvingly. "Both of your Martial Spirits sound powerful as well. Excellent."
At that moment, Sisi entered the room, holding a scroll. "Good. Now that your Martial Spirits have evolved, it's time to begin your first lesson," she said, handing the scroll to each of them.
"What is this?" Bibi Dong asked as she studied the scroll.
"This is the Celestial Tyrant Art," Sisi explained. "Master it to reach the first stage, and you will be able to obtain your first spirit ring. It will enhance both your physical and spiritual power, and," she added with a smirk, "it will also perfect your appearance."
The three women exchanged glances, their eyes lighting up with anticipation as they realized the potential of what they had been given. They nodded in unison and declared, "We will strive to reach the first stage as quickly as possible."

[Reward: Spirit Bone of 100,000 Years of Your Choice]
[Note: Reward is only for the first one to reach the first stage of the Celestial Tyrant Art.]
As the notifications appeared in their vision, their eyes widened. Silent messages passed between them as they exchanged determined looks, each one seemingly saying, "I will obtain it."
Yuan, observing their reactions, raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. "They've become quite competitive," he mused to himself before turning back to his own training, leaving the three girls to their newfound rivalry.
Sisi on the other hand thought too, that it's sibling rivalry but she also find something different about them, but she shook her head as she returned to her practice too.
