Kapitel 103: Battle

Compared with the past, the Deadwood Forest is now in a state that is undeniably out of the ordinary. An eerie and unsettling atmosphere seems to have seeped into every nook and cranny, as if an unseen force has cast a pall over the entire woodland.

Rorick was at a loss as to what exactly had befallen the Deadwood Forest. However, he knew one thing for certain – this was no ordinary mission, and any trace of his former nonchalance had been replaced by a heightened sense of vigilance.

"Hold on," Rorick hissed, his voice barely above a whisper. "There are far too many of those accursed undead swarming around the altar. Charging in blindly would be nothing short of suicidal." The situation was as murky as the forest itself, and the undead's presence near the altar effectively put the brakes on any hasty action. The ever-cautious Rorick chose to exercise patience and keep a watchful eye on their surroundings.
