His words lingered ominously in the air. Then, without another sound, Ghost Calculator vanished into thin air, leaving no trace behind.
Chu Yang stood frozen, staring at the spot where the man had just been.
After a long moment, he stomped his foot and cursed, "Damned lunatic!"
Despite his outward bravado, his heart was racing. Ghost Calculator's reputation was one of nightmares, but Chu Yang refused to believe his threats.

Scoffing, he turned his attention back to the direction Xia Ruoyu and Xia Qingxue had fled.
"Those two? Even if the king of hell himself intervenes, they're mine!" Chu Yang's lips curled into a menacing grin as he darted after them.
Far above, perched atop a high tower, Ghost Calculator observed everything with a faint smirk. His cold gaze lingered on Chu Yang before he murmured to himself, "Oh, so you've chosen death, have you?"
With a soft chuckle, he vanished into the night like a wisp of smoke.

Xia Ruoyu stole a glance behind them, her face darkening as she spotted Chu Yang closing the gap.
"He's already caught up?"
Xia Qingxue's eyes widened in panic, her voice trembling.
Xia Ruoyu nodded grimly. "Yes, and we can't let him catch us!"
The two women, knowing the danger they faced, pushed their speed to the limit, becoming blurred streaks darting through the crowded streets of the provincial capital.
But Chu Yang was relentless. His laughter, tinged with malice, echoed through the night. "Run all you want. There's no escaping me!"
"Quick! This way!"
The two women zigzagged through alleys and crowded markets, their familiarity with the city's layout buying them precious moments. Their goal was clear: reach Su Manor. Only Su Chen, with his immense strength, could save them now.
Behind them, Chu Yang smirked coldly. "Think you can outpace me?"
With a burst of energy, he activated the Heavenly Dao Sect's Thunder Step technique, his form flickering as he closed in rapidly.
Xia Ruoyu's heart sank. "He's faster than I expected!" she muttered, glancing back at the rapidly approaching figure.
"Ruoyu, what do we do?" Xia Qingxue's voice wavered, her fear palpable.
"We don't stop. Keep going, no matter what!"
But even as she spoke, Chu Yang's figure loomed closer, his manic laughter sending chills down their spines.
"Let's end this." With a swift movement, Chu Yang appeared behind Xia Qingxue, his palm aimed squarely at her waist.

Xia Ruoyu whirled around just in time, intercepting his attack with her own palm. The impact sent a shockwave rippling through the street.
Chu Yang stumbled back a step, his face flushed with anger. Xia Ruoyu, however, was thrown back ten paces, clutching her arm as beads of sweat dripped from her forehead.
The disparity was clear.
"Ruoyu, are you okay?" Xia Qingxue rushed to support her friend, her face pale with worry.
"I'm fine," Xia Ruoyu replied through gritted teeth. "It's just a scratch."
But the truth was evident—Chu Yang's strength far surpassed her own.
"Why resist? Accept your fate!" Chu Yang licked his lips, his gaze filled with sadistic glee. "After I'm done, I'll turn you into obedient puppets, eternally at my mercy."
"You're insane!" Xia Qingxue shouted, trembling as despair gripped her.
"Insane?" Chu Yang laughed wildly, his figure vanishing once again.
"You're not escaping! Surrender to me!"
His chilling laughter filled the air as he lunged at them, like a ravenous wolf pouncing on its prey.
