Kapitel 6: Chapter 5

Sevika limped through the narrow streets of Zaun, clutching her arm where Vi had broke it. The pain was intense, but she'd endured worse. Her mechanical arm whirred softly with each step, the metal fingers twitching as she walked. She knew she had to report this to Silco immediately, no matter how much her pride hurt along with her body.

When she finally reached the familiar darkened corridors of The Last Drop, Zaun's notorious dive bar and Silco's base of operations, Sevika pushed the doors open, her face twisted in a scowl. The dim lighting flickered overhead, casting long shadows against the grimy walls. The regular patrons barely spared her a glance, too consumed by their drinks and games.

Silco was seated at his usual spot in the back, surrounded by maps of Zaun and Piltover, his cold eyes studying the latest reports from his enforcers. He didn't look up when Sevika approached, but his keen senses were on high alert, as always.

"Sevika," Silco's voice was calm, almost indifferent. "I hope you're here with good news."

Sevika's jaw clenched as she stopped in front of him, standing as tall as she could despite the dull ache in her body. "I ran into some trouble."

Silco finally looked up, his single good eye narrowing slightly. "Trouble?"

"Vi," Sevika spat the name, disgust lacing her voice. "She's alive."

That caught his attention. Silco straightened in his chair, his sharp gaze locking onto her. "Alive?" he repeated, his voice low but full of surprise. "After all these years?"

"Yeah," Sevika confirmed, wincing as she shifted her weight. "She's not just alive. She's got friends now—a group of weirdos from God-knows-where."

Silco's brow furrowed in thought. "Describe them."

Sevika let out a harsh breath, rolling her eyes at the memory of the strange trio. "One's a spiky-haired kid, wielding a giant key like it's a weapon. Another's this loud, angry duck that somehow uses magic. And then there's a dumb dog with a shield. They looked like they wandered out of some kid's storybook, but they were dangerous. They helped Vi escape."

Silco stared at her, silent for a long moment. "A giant key, you say?"

"Yeah. Like I said, weirdos."

Sevika could tell he wasn't entirely convinced. His mind was always turning, always calculating the angles, but his disbelief didn't surprise her. It sounded insane, even to her.

"And that's not all," Sevika added, the next part of her report a bitter taste in her mouth. "I saw Powder too."

Silco's good eye flickered, a hint of surprise flashing across his usually stoic expression. "Powder?"

"Yeah," Sevika grumbled, rubbing the back of her neck as if trying to ease the tension there. "She was with them. Vi's little sister, all grown up. It seems like she's running with those misfits now too."

Silco fell into silence once again, his mind clearly processing everything Sevika had told him. He drummed his fingers on the arm of his chair, lost in thought. "Powder... Vi... and this strange trio."

He wasn't sure what to make of it, but Sevika could tell he was intrigued. Silco had a way of turning any situation to his advantage, and she knew he was already formulating a plan in that sharp, calculating mind of his.

"They're still in Zaun?" he asked after a long pause, his voice measured.

"Yeah. I lost 'em in the back alleys, but they're somewhere down here. Hiding." Sevika crossed her arms, her scowl deepening. "Vi was hurt bad. She's not going far, not without help. We can still catch them."

Silco leaned forward, his interest piqued. "Interesting." He stood up, his tall, lean figure casting an imposing shadow across the room. "Gather some of our men. I want Zaun searched top to bottom. I want Vi, Powder, and this strange trio found. They can't have gone far."

Sevika nodded, but there was a flicker of hesitation in her eyes. "What about... the enforcers? If they catch wind of this, they'll be crawling all over Zaun."

Silco smiled faintly, his cold, calculating smile. "Let me worry about the enforcers. Focus on finding Vi and Powder."

Sevika gave a curt nod, though she didn't miss the edge in Silco's voice. He wasn't the type to tolerate failure. She couldn't afford another mistake. "Consider it done."

As she turned to leave, Silco's voice stopped her in her tracks. "And Sevika... make sure you don't underestimate Vi again. I want her alive, but if she becomes too much of a problem..."

"I'll take care of it," Sevika finished for him, her voice hard. She didn't need to be told twice. If it came down to it, she'd do whatever was necessary.

As Sevika made her way out of The Last Drop, the weight of the situation bore down on her. Vi was back, Powder was with her, and now they had these strange outsiders thrown into the mix. Zaun had changed since Vi had been gone, and Sevika wasn't going to let her disrupt Silco's plans.

Pulling out her communicator, she barked orders to Silco's men, gathering forces for a full-scale search of Zaun. This wasn't going to be easy, but she was determined. Vi wasn't slipping away from her again. Not this time.

As she made her way down the alley, her thoughts drifted back to Powder—how different she had looked, how strong she seemed despite her young face. The last time Sevika had seen her, she'd been a scared, broken child. But now... now there was something else in her eyes.

For a brief moment, Sevika wondered just how far the girl had come—and how dangerous she might have become. But that didn't matter. In the end, they'd all fall. Vi, Powder, and those oddball outsiders.

Silco would make sure of it.

——

The room had settled into a comfortable lull. Vi, still groggy from her injuries, lay propped up on a worn-out mattress, her bandaged side slowly healing. Powder sat close by, never straying too far from her sister's side. Sora, Donald, and Goofy sat scattered around the small, hidden room they'd taken refuge in, keeping quiet but clearly curious. Caitlyn stood by the window, her keen eyes scanning the streets for any sign of trouble. Despite the seriousness of the situation, the tension had lifted a bit, leaving a more relaxed atmosphere.

Vi's eyes flicked toward Sora, Donald, and Goofy. "So, let me get this straight," she said, voice hoarse but amused. "You three just... bounce from world to world, fightin' bad guys and savin' people?"

Sora grinned, a light chuckle escaping him. "Pretty much! We've been through a lot of adventures together. Donald and Goofy have been with me since the start."

"Yeah, and we always get dragged into the craziest things!" Donald quacked, crossing his arms with an exaggerated sigh.

Goofy, in his usual laid-back tone, added, "But it's all worth it when we help out folks along the way. Hyuck!"

Vi raised an eyebrow, clearly entertained. "Well Christ on a stick, guess nothing's impossible nowadays." She said, intrigued, "Gotta say, you lot are somethin' else, I'll give ya that. So, what's with the giant key?" She pointed lazily at the Keyblade resting against the wall near Sora.

"Oh, that?" Sora straightened up, his smile widening. "It's called a Keyblade. It can unlock and lock all kinds of doors, but more importantly, it can defeat the Heartless, those dark creatures we told you about."

Vi glanced at the Keyblade, a smirk forming. "A giant fuckin' key, huh? Gotta say, didn't see that comin'. And Powder's got one too?"

"Yep!" Powder beamed, the earlier tension melting away. "I modified mine a little." She pulled out her Keyblade, which had some added mechanisms and tools welded onto the hilt, fitting her tinkering nature. "It's not as shiny as Sora's, but it works just as well."

Vi chuckled softly, pride in her voice. "Figures you'd make it your own. You always were a little genius with this kinda stuff." She shot a teasing glance at Sora, noticing his slight blush. "So, you two an item, then? Should've fuckin' guessed. You've always liked the boys with the baby faces, Pow."

Powder flushed, her eyes wide with shock and embarrassment, it was like her sister could see through her eyes. "W-What?"

Sora was also flusherd by Vi's comment, he too had a crush on Powder, however he still tried to make an excuse to hide the fact, "W-Well, we were only travelling together for 7 years...!"

Both teens blushed harder as they tried to deny their clear feelings for each other, which only made Vi laugh.

"Look at you, little sis. All grown up, got yourself a boyfriend and everything." She winked. "You gotta give me the full story later."

Powder groaned, rolling her eyes irritably. "He is NOT my boyfriend, Violet!"

Vi smirked and leaned back, arms crossing behind her head. "Yeah sure. For now."

Vi shifted her attention to Caitlyn, who had been quiet, still focused on her lookout duty. "Oi, Cupcake," she called out, her voice laced with a teasing tone.

Caitlyn stiffened slightly but didn't turn away from the window. "Don't call me that," she muttered.

"Why not? It suits ya," Vi grinned. "All sweet and proper, even when you're about to blow someone's fuckin' head off."

"Vi, I swear..." Caitlyn grumbled, a blush creeping onto her cheeks.

Sora stifled a laugh, while Powder joined in. "Cupcake"; is was the most cheesiest act of hypocrisy she ever seen and heard.

"Whatever you say, Cupcake!" Vi finishes as she winked at Caitlyn, who rolled her eyes but couldn't stop a small smile from forming.

But the moment didn't last long. Caitlyn's smile vanished, her eyes narrowing as she spotted something outside. "We've got company," she said, her voice tense.

Powder's stomach dropped as Caitlyn turned back to the group, her expression serious. "It's Sevika. And she's brought a bloody crew with her."

Sora and the others instantly went on alert. Vi cursed under her breath, sitting up despite the pain in her side. "That bitch isn't the type to give up easy."

"How many?" Donald asked, already gripping his staff.

Caitlyn glanced through the window. "At least a dozen. They're gearing up to storm the place."

Sora's heart pounded as he exchanged a quick glance with Powder, who looked tense but determined. He stepped forward, summoning his Keyblade, ready for whatever came next. "We've got to move," he said firmly, looking at Vi and Caitlyn. "We can't let them find us here."

Vi clenched her jaw, pushing herself to her feet. "Then let's make sure they don't."

Outside, the sound of boots scraping against cobblestone and murmurs from Sevika's thugs grew louder. Sora tightened his grip on the Keyblade, standing side by side with Powder, Donald, Goofy, and the others.

Their hearts were racing and the tension thickened. A clash was coming.
