The next day, Alice and her daughter, Emily, made their way to the airport. They flew first class on a top-tier airline, enjoying the luxury and comfort that came with it. Alice, who valued her rest above almost anything else, slept through the entire flight. She had reasoned that if she was expected to participate in the race, something completely outside her lazy nature,then she needed to conserve her energy as much as possible. Sleep was a priority.

The flight from Seattle to New York took approximately five and a half hours, and upon landing, Alice and Emily were promptly escorted to the hotel reserved for them by the event organizers. It was a prestigious establishment located in the heart of the city, known for hosting elite guests from around the world.
