Jessica rubbed her backside and headed to the kitchen to make dinner.
At that moment, Evan got a call from Peter.
Peter: "Evan, something serious happened! Did you see the news? Harry—"
Evan: "Peter, slow down. Take a breath."
Peter: "Well, it's just that he..."
Earlier, at the Ghost Spider Fan Club
"What's up, Ned? I've got work to finish up, so I'll leave once I'm done," Harry said, holding a club flyer as he leaned over Ned's shoulder.
"Oh... Harry, I don't know how to put it… just look for yourself," Ned said, carefully handing him the phone.
Harry took the phone, and his eyes widened in shock.
His billionaire father… a terrorist? And defeated by Ghost Spider, only to be killed by Black Spider?!
"No!"
"I don't believe it!"
"I don't believe it's true!" he yelled, throwing the flyer into the air.
The paper fluttered down like snowflakes, one by one.
In that moment, a familiar melody started playing:
"Snowflakes drifting~ Northern wind rustling~ The world is boundless!"
"A single plum blossom~ standing alone in the snow..."
Harry froze.
Why did it feel like the music was mocking him?
"Who's playing the Chinese song!?"
"Ah! Sorry," Mary Jane apologized, looking up from where she was working on a slogan. "Gwen's been listening to a lot of Chinese music lately and recommended some to me. If you don't like it… Huh? Harry, are you alright?"
"No!" Harry yelled and stormed out.
"Harry! Where are you going?" Peter called after him, only to see Harry get into his Rolls-Royce Phantom 88 and speed off.
"Black Spider! And Ghost Spider! I won't let you get away with this!" Harry seethed as he drove, his anger still simmering.
In his mind, Black Spider, who killed his father, was the real villain, and Ghost Spider was an accomplice.
As for Norman Osborn chasing Ghost Spider first? So what? That was his father. He couldn't see it any other way.
His driver and confidant advised him, "Sir, we don't have the full story yet. Let's go to the scene first."
"Hmm..." Harry calmed down a bit, deep in thought.
"By the way, Jessica was there, too. She got taken away by Ghost Spider in the end. Maybe she knows something."
Back at the Club
Ned knelt down, reaching for the broken phone that Harry had thrown.
"Oh no! My precious phone... and my pocket money!"
"Snowflakes drifting~"
"Mary Jane, turn off that music!" he grumbled.
Peter chimed in, "Hey, Ned, be nice to her!"

After listening to Peter's account, Evan hung up the phone.
As the instigator of the whole incident, Evan wore a conflicted expression.
Why did it all sound so upbeat when it was clearly a serious matter?
"Big brother, that strange thing you cooked is screaming! I poked at it a few times, but I don't know what's wrong with it," Jessica said as she ran out of the kitchen, wearing slippers and looking alarmed.
"Jessica, that's called medicinal stew. I'll take care of it."
Evan put down his phone, went to the kitchen, and quickly fixed things up. Soon, he came out carrying a pot of the stew and a bowl.
"Here, this bowl's for you. I'll bring the rest over to Gwen."
He placed the bowl on the table and motioned for Jessica to drink.
Jessica leaned down and sniffed, wrinkling her nose. "It smells funny! I don't want it~ Just give it to Gwen."
"Suit yourself," Evan said, pouring her bowl into the thermos with the rest.
Jessica narrowed her eyes suspiciously, glancing at Evan. "Cooking up something weird for two girls, hmm... Evan! Are you planning something sketchy? I heard some herbs in the East can make people lose control..."
"Hmm?"
Evan raised an eyebrow, taking in the sight of Jessica in her cute black skirt and kitchen apron. Her long legs in those stockings... he couldn't resist a little mischief.
He leaned in, running a hand along her stocking-covered leg and whispered playfully, "Jessica, how about you sleep in my room tonight?"
"Ah!?" Jessica's cheeks flushed, and she crossed her legs, her hands pulling her skirt down self-consciously. "Um... that wouldn't be right… Gwen might get mad..."
Evan lightly pinched her thigh. "It's fine, I'll just play with your legs~"
"My legs?"
Jessica quickly caught on to his teasing and smacked his hand away, giving him a light kick. "Just take your stew and go!"
