Kapitel 202: **Chapter 202: Hyuga’s Determination!**

Ten minutes later, Hyuga Pyo left the clan leader's yard, a hint of pride on his face.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Hyuga Hizu sat on the ground, a dejected look clouding his face. Although his body bore no visible wounds, his white eyes appeared hollow and dim.

"Father, Hyuga expresses his gratitude," he said quietly.

After sitting for a while, Hizu stood up, unwillingness written across his face, and approached Hyuga Baisen. Despite his frustration, he knew that Hyuga Pyo had not used any underhanded tactics—he had been defeated fairly.

The battle had lasted only a few minutes. Before Hizu could even close in, he was struck by Pyo's soft-fist technique. Just a single, precise hit had been enough to send energy surging through his meridians. Even as the energy dissipated, Hizu could sense Pyo's control over it. Had Pyo allowed it to explode within his meridians, Hizu would be either hospitalized or left permanently disabled. In combat, it could have been fatal.

This power was what made Hyuga Pyo so formidable. His soft-fist technique had surpassed Hyuga Hizu's by leaps and bounds.

"I understand," Baisen said seriously. "You should go rest. I'll consider the matters here."

"Yes, Father," Hizu replied, leaving with a heavy heart.

After he left, Baisen took out a card Hizu had given him earlier. "Reiki, the Medical Ninja! Tsunade's so-called genius disciple?" Baisen mused thoughtfully. Then, he got up and left the yard.

Inside the Hyuga clan's training courtyard...

"I give up, Reiki, I'm just a student!" Hyuga protested, panting. "Stop fighting. I lost, alright? You're a chuunin! This is bullying!"

"Okay, that's enough for now," Reiki replied with a laugh. "So what if I'm a chuunin? We're classmates. Competing isn't a big deal. Besides, I'm a medical ninja. Even if I hurt you, I can treat you immediately."

Reiki finally stopped when the system scan showed Hyuga Tetsu's name turning red and purple. He walked over, providing basic treatment while reassuring him.

"You're… you're right," Hyuga Tetsu admitted, looking sheepish. He had finally grasped what kind of fighter Reiki was. Wasn't Reiki supposed to be a medical ninja? Yet, he fought more fiercely than a combat ninja. Even with the advantage of his white eyes and soft fists, honed through years of family training, Tetsu found himself utterly outmatched.

Ten minutes later, Reiki had completely healed Tetsu's injuries. Reiki's increasing skill allowed him to treat minor injuries much faster now.

"Father!" Tetsu exclaimed, getting up to complain, but he stopped when he saw Hyuga Pyo returning.

"By the look on your face, you must have had a good experience," Reiki said to Pyo. "But judging by your expression, I'm guessing it didn't go as planned, right?"

"Yes, the clan leader didn't agree," Pyo replied. "But Reiki, I will compete for the position of the next clan leader. When the time comes, I'll support your request!"

"Oh?" Reiki's interest was piqued. "So, you fought with the current head of the Hyuga clan and won, didn't you?"

Reiki knew that the current clan leader, Hyuga Momori, was the father of Hizu. Hizu was already considered one of the clan's top talents, so Pyo's confidence spoke volumes.

"Yes, that's right," Pyo replied. "Alright then, I'll head back. If you need anything, don't hesitate to find me," Reiki said, waving goodbye with a relaxed smile.

As Reiki left, the confidence on Pyo's face faded.

"What's wrong?" Hyuga Hanano approached him with a worried look. "Why the sudden change?"

Pyo sighed, shaking his head. "What I said to Reiki just now—I was confident for his sake, but if I'm honest, achieving this will face a lot of resistance."

"Then…"

Hanano was taken aback. If it was that difficult, why pursue it? Although they were all family, change was hard when everyone had their own ambitions.

"Don't worry, I understand," Pyo reassured her. "Still, since I've made the promise, I want to try my best. At the very least, I'll stay true to my intentions."

Raising his hand, he felt the lingering strength from the previous fight. His gaze turned determined.

"But why…"

"Hanano!" Pyo cut her off gently. "The division in our family is meant to protect our Byakugan from falling into outsiders' hands. But do you know why the Uchiha, another powerful dojutsu family, never face this issue?"

Hanano looked puzzled. "Because they're strong enough?"

"Exactly. Their strength is unmatched. The answer isn't to guard our Byakugan fiercely but to grow strong enough that no one dares to take it," Pyo said, glancing in the direction Reiki had gone. "With Reiki's support, the Hyuga clan could reach a future like that!"

"If that's the case, I'll stand by you," Hanano replied firmly, proud of her husband's resolve to better their clan.

"That's what I was hoping to hear," Pyo said, smiling at her. "Let's go find Reiki and ask for his help."

"Well, he hasn't gone far yet," Hanano noted, but before she could say more, Reiki's voice echoed as he turned back for his medical supplies.

"Could you at least consider my feelings as the one always being asked for help?" he joked, a note of weariness in his voice.
