Kapitel 33: No Waste Of Time

The footsteps pounded, the alarm blaring, as Isabella and Leon ran deeper into the warehouse labyrinth. Above, dim lights seemed to flicker with every moment, as if threatening to go out anytime and casting long shadows that seemed to follow their every move. There was no time for thoughts-just the urge to get away.

We can't backtrack the way we came," Leon muttered, his eyes darting to the warehouse upper levels for another exit.

Isabella nodded, her hold on the folder of evidence tightening. The more they were around the warehouse, the greater their chances of being found by Weber's men. And with that would go everything they had worked to achieve-the truth about her mother, the conspiracy, and her revenge.
