Kapitel 13: Chapter 12 Dr. Drake

The team within the control center at this time wanted to rush through the dense jungle over to the rocket.

In there minds the research team had not survived but they were full of curiosity about David.

They could not wait to ask him questions if they could meet him.

Unfortunately they were stopped and a special team was sent to the crash site to secure the area

At this tine a local media company had also managed to catch wind about this and so they too began rushing through the jungle to meet David.

A speaker, cameraman and a few journalist made there way hoping to reach David before he flew away.

While the symbiotes fought within his body.

David quickly began to destroy any form of records using Jarvis, stating anything about the symbiotes from the research rocket.

By the time Jarvis had gained access to the system and completely erased everything from the systems records.

The special team and the reporters had reached the rocket.

Once David was sure everything had been erased he stepped out.

"It's a pity that there are no survivors, I really tried my best."

The cameras were focused on David, a few other journalists snapped pictures as quickly as they could.

A speaker who held the mike byilt up courage and tried stepping forwards but the special team that had come for retrivel and were all people personally hired by Dr. Drake to secure the area.

So they stopped any body from approaching the rocket.

David saw this and tokd them to stop as he stepped towards the Camera man and the person with the mike.

The gaurds that were moving around trying to block them from approaching stopped what they were doing.

They had seen what David was capable of on TV and in person when he stopped the rocket.

They did not have the guts to try and make a issue for David.

"Go on, you seem to have some questions" David spoke with a smile.

The reporter was quiet for a while, Anxiety and fear ran rampant within him but his will as a reporter shined through the darkness.

"What is your name?" He finally asked.

"Call me..." David stopped as he thought about the moniker he should go by.

"Superman, Call me Superman" David said.

The reporter nodded, a smile almsot breaking out on his face.

He was excited at this point.

David frowned for a second as the battle within his body between the symbiotes intensified.

He was also in a state of weakness right now.

He used a lot of strength in stopping that rocket, he had to recuperate it by absorbing the sun light.

That is the unfortunate thing about post-ctisis Superman.

His strength would be like a normal human's if he didnt absorb the sun light.

"I think that's enough for today" David said as he bent his knees slightly and took off into the air.

Reaching a certain distance in the sky David began to use his speed, the best he could do was Mach 3 currently.

Flying straight up, he left behind multiple sonic booms leaving everybody witnessing David in real life completely stunned.

A few minutes passed and the sound of a helicopter appeared.

It arrived over the crash site where a ladder was extended out and Dr. Drake climbed down from.

The soldiers began to take away the camera, unfortunately for them everything was uploaded to the cloud so it didn't matter even if they took the cameras away.

The news they had gathered was major, David had no interaction with the public so far, they were the ones that had David's first interaction and a name, Superman.

Dr. Drake landed and entered the rocket and began to access the data but there was nothing, he looked at the lab room, but all he saw was an empty room with a perfectly circular hole In the glass.

He was stunned for a few seconds.

"No.. How can that be" but soon anger took over.

He gritted his teeth and punched the glass.

"Damn it!"

The figure of David appeared in his mind.

He gripped the glass in anger as he stared at the perfectly circular hole and the empty room.

"He captured those symbiotes, and then erased all records on the spacecraft"

"How!" He shouted as he slammed his fist on the glass.

This was supposed to be Dr. Drake's big breakthrough.

His contribution to furthering humanity.

Yet all of his work was stolen by David.

This was something Dr. Drake could not bear as hatred and anger filled his mind.

David was currently basking in the sun.

He glanced at his reputation points and smiled he was half through already once the news about his name spreads, he knew his points were gonna skyrocket.

The public would finally have a name for him.

The power within his cells rejuvenating at an astonishing speed leaving the symbiotes shocked.

But that didnt take away from there battle, currently Venom and Carnage were the only two alive.

Riot and lasher had died.

There battle was coming to a close where finally Venom using his strategic mind and experience won and devoured Carnage.

David felt the blows all over his body quiet down and Venom began to assimilate the other three symbiotes powers.

David let out a sigh of relief.

His body got damaged during the battle of the symbiotes.

Scratched arteries, crushed organs and several broken bones.

David felt like a knife was stabbing him everytime he moved.

His body did not even suffer this much when he stopped a free falling rocket.

Since the battle quietened down his body got the chance to heal.

It would take about a day before he would be able to completely recover.

Staring at the sun, David felt his throat parched.

He quickly decided what he was gonna do next once he was done healing.

"HAHAHA! You maybe powerfull but I am stronger" Venoms loud laugh reached David's mind.

David felt Venom extending his tendrils deeper into his body trying to gain control of it.

David simply smiled, he thought that Venom had devoured the other symbiotes and must be brimming with power giving him the false illusion that Venom was strong enough to take control of David's body.
