He didn't give Shen Heyu a chance to refuse. He picked up the car keys next to him and walked past her to head outside.
Shen Heyu didn't say anything more. With his driving skills, she was certain she could get to the airport much faster.
She got into the car with Pei Yansi. He drove very quickly; a journey that should have taken two hours only took him one hour to reach the airport.
However, after getting out of the car, Shen Heyu noticed he was still closely following her. As she prepared to go inside, she said to him, "Thank you, Mr. Pei. It's enough to have brought me here."
"It's no problem. I'll see you to your destination."
Shen Heyu's scalp tingled as she looked into his eyes, trying to discern his real purpose, but his eyes were dark and waveless, revealing nothing out of the ordinary.
She said, "Mr. Pei, why bother?"
"Are you not in a rush? Let's go."
