Kapitel 24: A Swarm Of Monsters

In Karina's latest entry in our exchange diary, she mentioned a merchant who had approached her father, claiming to sell talismans from the Ancient Magic Kingdom. Her father seemed interested, but Karina was worried—she had good reason to be. 

Apparently, the purchase hadn't gone through yet due to some financial delays, giving us a little time. This was definitely worth investigating.

"Phantom, we're going after the fake talisman gang," I said.

"Where do we start, boss?" Phantom asked, ever ready for a new mission.

"Not with the merchant. He'll claim he's just an innocent middleman who got duped."

"Right you are," Phantom agreed. "He's just a pawn in the game."

"No, we need the whole operation. Let's track down where they're making these fakes. The ink they're using—find out who's been buying up large quantities of red magic ink."
