The nameless young man seized Kairav and bolted toward the cliff's edge, flinging his Sambara sword into the air. In an instant, it transformed into a blazing chain of fire that latched onto the room's ceiling.

He intended to escape across the magma chasm to the safer area they had reached earlier, aiming to exit the grand chamber and flee the stepped pyramid.

His energy was already drained from previous battles, and he knew he'd be in no shape to face another monster—especially one of Dwarapala's size.

Grabbing hold of the Fire Chains, he swung forward, clutching Kairav tightly. In a flash, they were nearly to safety, but the giant Dwarapala moved with surprising speed, swinging his massive spiked mace into the magma below.

A pillar of molten lava exploded upward, a blistering hot fountain blocking their path to escape.
