Kapitel 34: Unexpected

When I woke up with Ethan next to me, I couldn't help but smile and kick myself at the same time. I was happy because Ethan was here holding me, but I had to reprimand myself for not thinking ahead. How would I get to school without being seen with Ethan and word getting back to Matt? Have I effectively trapped myself in this house? It's better than mine, but I don't want to be stuck here forever.

"Ethan, wake up! Call me a taxi or something." I slapped his arm.

"Didn't I tell you not to worry? Coraline will be here in a bit, so just get ready for breakfast," Ethan grumbled, lifting his arm off of me and turning away. He absolutely sucked at waking up in the morning.

As he said, Coraline came to pick me up after breakfast. "Oho, what's that on your neck? A YSL scarf? Is it real? A gift?" she asked.

"It's a gift; I'm not sure if it's real."

"Oh, should I buy one too? It can be a couple's set," she teased.

"Make sure it's nice," I replied.
