 Ardent could hear the discussion of the Blue Boulder. He make sure to use his Wind Magic to hear everything they said. 

 To be honest, he was not slighted at how they think of him as a path to greater success. In fact, that was exactly what he plan for the Blue Boulder should they finished their tasks perfectly. 

 While he can say it, Ardent can undermine his strength if he plainly say it, unfortunately. So, he has to leave some trail for the Blue Boulder's higher-ups to pick up.

 'Let them take the initiative. Though, teaching the Mages and Aura User is a good thing for the village.' 

 With the Blue Boulder not needing his oversight, for now, Ardent head straight to what he was doing before, patrolling.

 He was prepared for another invasion, but this time, with forces of the City Lord, the official army of Cruom City. Or part of it, at least.
