Ardent looked coldly at the corpse of the Bandit Boss. After blocking the attack, he crushed the man in one spell. Literally.
Using Earth Crush, he turned the Bandit Boss into crushed Bandit Boss. His latter appearance did not look out of place of a victim of a car accident now he think about it.
"I'm surprised I'm desensitized from killing someone now." Ardent muttered to himself.
Despite killing a few bandits before, when he was still a 1st Circle Mage, he thought he would still be quesy about it. As it turns out, he did not.
"How about the others? Can they handle the rest?" Ardent let loose his Sense, quickly finding the answer to his question.
"Maybe I should not push too much into their plate." he let out. Out of the three sides, all of them are losing, with the South losing the most badly due to the lack of 2nd Circle Mage.
"Time to kill some scum."

"Fight, or the village and your love one will suffer!" Frank yelled, before blocking an attack of a fellow 2nd Rank Aura User among the bandits' rank.
The blonde grit his teeth. Facing against another 2nd Rank Aura User was bad enough. Coupled with a 2nd Circle Mage casting spells in his and other 2nd Rank Aura User of the village, they slowly losing ground and guards, some injured while a few- did not make it.
Frank pushed down his sorrow, knowing it was not the time as he focused on not dying. Which is getting harder as the 2nd Circle Mage turned his attention to him.
As Frank send the 2nd Rank Aura User he was fighting flying, the 2nd Circle Mage made his move and throw a rock at his head. Normally, it would not be that dangerous except for the fact the rock move at high speed.
Before the rock could met his head and break his skull, a Barrier appeared around him, before the 2nd Circle Mage was cut in half.
"Looks like I'm too late." Ardent said, his savior having a sad look on his face.
"You did great, Master Ardent." one of the older guards said, "If not for you, we will be destroy and our losses will be higher."
The other guards agreed. Ardent let out a sigh before looking at them.
"Get back to the village and recover. Also, bring the body so we can give them a proper funeral." the guards nodded as Ardent head to the other direction.

Calais let out a tired puff of breath. He currently fighting a 2nd Circle Mage, the first time he fought such opponent in real-life battle instead of the spar he had with his sister.
'I hope Catlin is alright.' he prayed for her safety. Despite him being envious of his sister talent, he still loved her little sister.
'I hope Ardent get to her as fast as possible.' yet, as much as he admit his sister talent, he did not think she stand much of a chance against her opponent. Considering she would be facing a 2nd Circle Mage with greater experience, holding them back is the best result.
One he could not do for too long, unfortunately.
"Looks like this is the end, boy." the Bandit sneered. "Just surrender and we don't need to harm your pretty face. You will sell better that way."
Calais hide his fury, knowing attacking in his current state would lead to a quick lose.
The bandit took a step, before his legs were cut off, then his arms. Other Mages on the bandit's side also suffer greatly, losing a limb or two.
Calais did not need to search around to know the culprit.
"Thank you, Ardent." he said out loud, before an Ice Sword appeared in his hand.
"So, you plan on selling the villagers. Well, tell me everything you know and I might kill you faster."

Ardent hide, watching as Catlin fought against the final 2nd Circle Mage of the bandit group. As for why he did not intervene, Ardent believed his fiance can win the fight on his own. Though, whether the fair fight will continue depend on the bandits.
"This isn't working! Attack the others!" the 2nd Circle Mage proved him right as other bandits descend on the ranks of the guards.
Since the strongest guards were stationed at the South, to mitigate the lack of powerful Mage, most of the guards were younger and less experienced one. Resulting in some almost fleeing in terror.
Seeing this, Catlin try to attack them, which was something the bandit is waiting for. As she throw an Icicle at one of the bandits, the 2nd Circle Bandit blasted her with jet of water.
She could only look at the rushing water and closed her eyes, waiting her fate. However, when she did not feel even a single drop on her, Catlin dared to open her eyes, to see a Barrier around her.
She turned to see a pissed of Ardent, who looked like he planned on torturing the bandit.
"Catlin," he let out before kissing her forehead. She blushed at the show of affection. While they are still in battle at that!
"Not the time and place." she could only mutter, as Ardent laughed at her.
"We can always go wild with your father not here." he replied, causing her blush to get caught on fire.
He laughed even louder before stroking her hair, saying, "Wait here. I have one last person to deal with."
As Ardent walked slowly to the 2nd Circle Mage, Catlin remained red, unable to turn her color back to normal due to his assault.

"So, you the last one I need to deal with." Ardent exclaimed, walking slowly to the bandit while blocking his pitiful attack with a wave of his hand.
"Huh! You maybe a 3rd Circle Mage, but the Boss is waiting for you! He will take reve-" the Bandit stopped as the body of the Boss was thrown in front of him.
The Bandit gasped, taking a few step back, disbelief coloring his eyes.
"Impossible! This must be some sort of trick!" the Bandit yelled, trying to believe the lie he spouted.
Ardent did not have time to care for them. "Since you don't want to be useful," Ardent easily create a hole, causing the man to fall into it.
With the hole being 10 meter deep, the Bandit broke his legs, screaming in pain. But Ardent was not done yet. He filled it with water, but stopped when it reach the man's neck.
However, such act was not done out of kindness.
"Aarghhh!" with the water being something he can control, Ardent easily cut the man, making sure to make it as painful as possible, while ensuring he will still be alive as he needed to.
"Continue to not be helpful. I have all day long. While you, don't have much time left."
