The front of Grace's body met the soft mattress of her bed and Rune followed right after her, his body covering her back slightly but he made sure to keep most of his weight on the bed and not on her.

"Thank you for letting me stay." He whispered against her shoulder, placing a kiss there the very next moment as if he was unable to hold himself back. "And also thank you for finally allowing me inside your circle. I promise I'll not let you down." He added, placing another kiss on her shoulder blade.

Grace shifted and he immediately pulled back to let her turn over to her back. But the moment she was comfortably on her back, he was once again there, covering her body with his own. He even snuggled his face into the crook of her neck, inhaling deeply.
