Kapitel 667: Chapter 667: Little Huang's Great Battle with the Little Master

At this moment, Ke Lan had finally persuaded Uncle Ak. She knew he was concerned for her safety, but the situation had escalated beyond his capacity to intervene. Once they stepped into that perilous, sin-ridden place, even she couldn't guarantee her own safety, let alone Uncle Ak's.

Akmonde sighed inwardly, regretting his own weakness. Why couldn't he be stronger? He knew Ke Lan meant he was too weak to help.

"Ke Lan, be careful. If anything happens to you, I won't be able to face your father," Akmonde said gravely. He didn't know where Lin Fan had gone. After escaping that planet, he had searched, but to no avail. Later, entangled in these matters, he had given up the search.

"I know," Ke Lan replied firmly. "I won't die before I see my father."

Just then, the space ahead rippled.

"Who dares block my path? Who is this 'God of Light'? What audacity!"

The voice resonated, shaking the heavens and earth, startling all the powerful individuals present. Their faces were etched with shock.

"Who is that?"

They gazed into the distance. The space distorted, and a ferocious aura emanated from that direction, as if something terrifying was about to descend. Then, a giant claw emerged from the void, causing it to collapse. Upon closer inspection, it was merely a condensed phantom, not the true form.

Ke Lan focused, shrouding herself in holy light, preparing to face the enemy. She had intended to seek out her opponent, but she hadn't expected them to appear on their own.

"Who is the God of Light? Show yourself!"

Beneath the phantom, a figure appeared. Little Huang's relatively small paws landed lightly on the void, yet a booming sound reverberated as the void itself collapsed.

Everyone was dumbfounded, unsure of the newcomer's identity. After the initial shock, they exclaimed,

"It's a dog..."

This was beyond everyone's expectations. For hundreds of thousands of years, they had been wary of the terrifying existence within the forbidden zone. Now, its appearance in the form of a dog left them speechless.

"What's wrong with being a dog? I'll trample you all underfoot and make you bark like dogs!" Little Huang roared furiously, baring his teeth at them.

Ke Lan frowned. "Are you the Forbidden Lord those beasts spoke of?"

Little Huang looked at Ke Lan, surprised to see a young woman. "Indeed, I am the Forbidden Lord. I heard you've been blocking this place for hundreds of thousands of years, preventing us from entering. Now's your chance. Step aside, or face the consequences."

"Impossible," Ke Lan refused. "Behind me lies the habitat of countless living beings. I will never let a monster like you pass."

Little Huang was annoyed by her words. A monster? When did he become a monster? Ha Lin was right; the beings outside were unreasonable. They acted as if they knew him, even though they were strangers.

"Little girl, you may have misunderstood me," Little Huang said.

He hadn't chosen the title of Forbidden Lord. It was given to him by the strange creatures within the forbidden zone. When he first entered, he encountered many unfriendly beings. He merely wanted to leave and find his master, but they relentlessly attacked him. He had fought his way out, and those forbidden beasts had started calling him the Forbidden Lord. He had accepted the title, thinking it sounded quite impressive. His master would be proud of his accomplishments.

"Words are useless."

Ke Lan's temper seemed to flare. Any further conversation was pointless. She charged towards Little Huang.

"Wow, I try to be reasonable, and you attack me? So unfriendly and impolite!" Little Huang exclaimed. With a roar, he unleashed his divine power. A massive phantom dog head appeared, lunging to swallow Ke Lan whole.

Hearing the Forbidden Lord's words, Ke Lan's heart trembled. A sense of familiarity washed over her, but she dismissed it as an illusion.

BOOM!

The battle erupted. Despite his small size, Little Huang was incredibly powerful, living up to his title of Forbidden Lord. The other powerful beings watched in awe and fear. They knew they would be no match for this dog.

Akmonde watched vigilantly, wanting to help Ke Lan, but he knew he couldn't interfere in such a battle. He would only be a burden.

"Everyone, what are you waiting for? The Forbidden Lord has appeared. Only by joining forces can we have a chance of victory." He began to rally the others. After spending this time with them, he knew they weren't treacherous. They had all been guarding this place for countless years, sharing the same goal: to protect the billions of lives behind them and seek a path to breakthrough.

"Indeed. Although my lamp is nearing its end, this battle represents peace and can bring harmony to countless worlds. It will be the completion of my path."

"Well said."

"Count me in."

"This dog may seem small, but we must not underestimate it. I sense a profound Dao rhyme within him, perhaps bestowed by some extraordinary being."

This powerful being's guess was correct. Someone had indeed bestowed their cultivation upon Little Huang. As Ha Lin was dying, he had transferred all his cultivation to Little Huang. Due to differences in the timelines, Little Huang was hundreds of thousands of years ahead of Ke Lan and the others.

Little Huang was a dog, and his natural talent was limited. Even with diligent cultivation, he could become strong, but never powerful enough to traverse the forbidden zone.

Ha Lin's dying words to Little Huang were: "Little Huang, I've lived long enough, a fulfilling and satisfying life. But you still need to find my uncle. With your current cultivation, it's difficult to leave this world. I'll pass my lifelong cultivation to you, hoping you can find my uncle."

Thus, Little Huang had attained such power over these hundreds of thousands of years, becoming the Forbidden Lord.

"You're all so despicable, ganging up on me! Truly a bunch of villains! Witness my ultimate move..."

"Dog Dao!"

Woof! Woof!

Suddenly, deafening barks echoed in everyone's ears. Some couldn't withstand the assault, their eardrums rupturing as they coughed up blood. Then, countless dog phantoms materialized, each a manifestation of the Dao.

"Blasphemy!" they cried inwardly. A powerful being capable of comprehending the Dao had condensed it into the form of dogs! This was a desecration, a disgrace to the Dao.

But their outrage was futile. Little Huang was too strong.

Ke Lan remained impassive, but she gradually felt the pressure. She hadn't expected the Forbidden Lord to be so powerful.
