After parting with her brother and mother, Asti walked to the car Tiel had arranged for her and went directly to where he worked.

As the car moved out of the gate, her eyes gleamed with the excitement of finding Celeste at her weakest point and then crushing the last bit of her spirit, destroying whatever it was that Tiel had found interesting about her.

So, if he persisted in caring for Celeste, at least the other girl wouldn't find joy in it or would suffer all the same.

There was never a universe where Asti would share the love of her man, and regardless of Erickson's arrangements or the legality of their relationship, she was first.
