Kapitel 73: Hidden Sand Attacks

All around me, the Hidden Sand shinobi launched relentless assaults against our forces, seizing every opportunity in the midst of the confusion. I took in the chaos, readying myself alongside my friends. Thankfully, my girls, their strength and training evident, had resisted the genjutsu's pull. Even Tenten, back from her rest, joined our defensive line, resolute as ever.

Kakashi-sensei and Guy-sensei were already deep in battle, fending off waves of enemy attacks with skill and precision. Close by, I caught sight of Tsunade and Jiraiya, who had arrived in time thanks to my mom's foresight. My mom herself, despite being retired, stood ready as the powerful kunoichi she had once been. Together, we were a formidable defense, each of us prepared to protect our home at any cost.

It almost seemed laughable—how foolish the Kazekage had been to attempt an attack on the village now, with so many powerful shinobi here. He clearly underestimated us and the unity that held Konoha together, even in the face of a surprise invasion.

As if summoned from an endless supply, enemy shinobi poured onto the battlefield, pushing us to fight with everything we had. Amidst the chaos, both the Hokage and Kazekage had vanished from sight, likely facing each other somewhere away from the crowd. Glancing around, I also noticed Sasuke was nowhere to be found; it wasn't hard to guess that he'd likely gone after Gaara.

I decided it was time to locate the Hokage. Turning to Kakashi-sensei, I called out, "Kakashi, I'm going to find the Hokage!"

"Go ahead, Naruto. We'll hold them off here," Kakashi responded, his voice firm amidst the turmoil.

Before leaving, I looked back to my girls, making sure they were safe. "Stay sharp, and watch each other's backs!" They gave quick nods of acknowledgment before I moved on, weaving through the chaos around me. But as I moved toward the village center, I was suddenly intercepted by a squad of Suna chunin led by a jonin, who wore a smug expression.

With a smirk, I looked them over. "It's almost funny how foolish Suna is to attack Konoha with so much strength gathered here today."

The jonin sneered back. "You think we'd come without a plan?"

I raised an eyebrow, goading him. "I figured Suna's specialty was sand, but I didn't realize you had so much of it in your heads."

The jonin's face twisted with anger. "You arrogant brat! Not even a chunin, yet you talk like you own the place!"

"Maybe because I do," I shot back, already preparing to take them down.

"Don't worry, I won't kill you," I said with a smirk, settling into my fighting stance. "If I did, Temari might be a little upset." My words only seemed to make them angrier, and they sneered back at me.Even before when I fought the others,I didn't kill anyone ,I just made them faint ,which would make them unconscious for hours.

"A genin like you? Do you think you're worthy of our princess?" the jonin

barked, clearly insulted. Without

warning, they launched a coordinated attack.

"Wind Style: Wind Wave!" A powerful gust shot toward me. Anticipating their move, I formed my own hand signs. "Fire Style: Fire Dragon Technique!" I unleashed a blazing fire dragon that tore through the incoming wind, overpowering it with ease. The dragon surged forward, forcing them to dodge, but I was already closing in on them.

One by one, I landed swift punches and kicks with enough force to knock each opponent unconscious without dealing any fatal damage. They crumpled to the ground, defeated but still alive. Soon, the entire group lay still, and I continued my search, knowing there'd be more challenges ahead.

After finishing off the last of the Suna shinobi in my path, I sprinted toward the heart of the action, where I sensed the intense battle between the Hokage and Kazekage. As I approached, a massive barrier came into view—a formidable structure, radiating with the chakra of four powerful shinobi at its corners. It was the Four-Corner Barrier, a technique strong enough to contain even the Ten-Tails if needed. Its strength lay in the fact that it required four kage-level shinobi, each stationed at one of the four directions—north, east, west, and south.

A group of Anbu surrounded the barrier, trying to break through but with little success. One of them spotted me and approached. "Naruto! Both Kages are inside, but we can't break the barrier. Think you can do anything?"

Most of the Anbu had witnessed my strength firsthand. By now, they knew I could hold my own even against their ranks, perhaps even surpassing them in certain ways.

Studying the barrier, I nodded. "This barrier is tough. It's designed to contain even kage-level shinobi. To break it, we either need overwhelming force or we take down the four shinobi casting it from each direction. If we disrupt just one of them, the whole barrier collapses."

They listened intently, understanding that we had only two options—overpower it or track down the casters.

"It's fine—I'll take care of the ones maintaining the barrier. You go help the others take down the Suna shinobi," I said firmly. The Anbu hesitated, knowing it was their duty to protect the Hokage, but eventually, they nodded, giving in to my insistence.

"Alright, Naruto. The Hokage is in your hands," one of them said before they dashed off to join the battle.

Watching them go, I let out a sigh. "All these good shinobi, wasted on old schemes and grudges. It's time to put an end to this." I knew who was behind all this chaos.

"Orochimaru," I called out, my voice steady as I addressed the snake hiding in the shadows, observing every twist and turn in the battle. "I know you're here, lurking and watching. It's time to settle this."
