Kapitel 105: CH105

"So, the wizard apprentice who stole the Moonstone Grass intends to sell or trade it for resources at the market?" Helag asked.

Elisa nodded. "Exactly. Moonstone Grass is a high-grade potion ingredient, typically used in advanced potions. A rogue wizard apprentice wouldn't have the capability to use it, so they must be preparing for the market."

Helag understood. Moonstone Grass was useless to most wizard apprentices unless they sold or traded it.

With the market about to open, the thief would undoubtedly go there.

Helag pondered for a moment. "But there are two issues. First, do you know the market's location? Second, even if I get there, I won't know who has the Moonstone Grass."

"I already know the market's location. Don't forget, I can use the Adventurers' Guild to gather information. Although a few people died, we got the information. It's in Crowfall Town."

Elisa sat up, her robe slipping casually, her golden hair falling to cover key areas.

She continued, "As for the second issue, you don't need to know who has it. If someone sells Moonstone Grass at the market, just buy it. There are two plants; buy both. I only need one, and you can keep the other as your reward."

Helag considered this. Acquiring the Moonstone Grass wouldn't require a fight; he just needed to buy or trade for it at the market.

Once he had the Moonstone Grass, he could complete Larry's task.

Then, he could focus on meditating and wait for news from Moonlight Forest.

Helag asked, "Do you know what currency wizards typically use for transactions? Gold coins or magic stones?"

"You don't need special channels for that. They mostly barter or use gold coins. Magic stones are rare outside wizard organizations, as most magic stone mines are controlled by these groups. Magic stones mainly circulate within these organizations, with only a few reaching the outside world," Elisa explained.

She took a bite of a grape, juice spilling onto her chest, which she quickly wiped with a towel, making Helag's blood surge.

Helag swallowed and steadied himself. "How much does Moonstone Grass cost in gold coins? I'm not exactly wealthy."

He had over ten thousand gold coins and a valuable Heart of the Ocean necklace, but that was a gift for Lilian.

Overall, he wasn't poor, but he played the part in front of this wealthy woman.

Elisa smiled. "I've prepared ten thousand gold coins for you. Moonstone Grass typically costs between ten thousand and twenty thousand gold coins. Any extra is your reward."

"Why don't you send someone else?" Helag asked.

Elisa rolled her eyes. "Only wizard apprentices or wizards can enter the market."

"Got it. Give me the money," Helag said, smiling.

Elisa seemed to think of something, her voice playful. "You could refuse the gold and take another reward. You know, I've never experienced a wizard before~ Fufu~"

"This woman is almost thirty and still talks like this!" Helag thought, exasperated.

He declined. "No, I only accept gold."

Elisa sighed. "You're too young to understand the goodness of older sisters. Gold can be earned anytime, but some opportunities don't come twice~"

She could have put out a call and maybe found a willing wizard apprentice.

But finding one was difficult, as they were often elusive.

Even if she found someone, she wouldn't trust them.

Helag, however, was different. She knew more about him and trusted him more.

Overall, Helag was the best choice.

"Alright, give me the details of Crowfall Town and the ten thousand gold coins," Helag decided to take the task.

He was curious about the market and what it might offer.

"You won't run off, will you?" Elisa asked playfully.

"Run off? I'm not that kind of person. Besides, I know Dino. I wouldn't take your money and disappear," Helag laughed.

***

Helag left the Lord's castle with ten chests of gold coins in his spatial ring, now nearly full.

He almost fled, as staying there any longer made his blood boil.

Using the Starry Sky Potion for training had side effects he suppressed through meditation.

But facing Elisa's mature and alluring body stirred those suppressed urges.

He realized why many wizards had odd personalities, likely due to potion side effects.

Many spells also had side effects, especially necromancy and curse spells.

Helag feared he might do something irrational if he stayed longer. After all, Elisa was Dino's descendant, and he couldn't act recklessly.

However, Elisa seemed to hope he would.

Because Helag, now tall, muscular, and handsome, with a calm and mysterious aura, easily attracted women.

***

The market would open in half a month, and Crowfall Town wasn't far from Ryan City.

With convenient transportation, it would take three days on horseback.

Helag spent ten days meditating and training at home before heading to Crowfall Town.

Although the market officially opened in five days, wizard apprentices would arrive early for resource exchanges and information sharing.

This time, Helag didn't take Ed, as the market was for wizard apprentices, and Ed, being a regular person, could easily get into trouble.

Riding alone was faster and more convenient.

Helag rode swiftly along the road.

After two days, he encountered a man on horseback at a crossroads. The man, cloaked in black, kept his distance after glancing at Helag.

"Deep Blue, scan his body data."
