Kapitel 119: Chapter 119 (edited)

In fact, Kara arrived on Oa much earlier than Hal Jordan. She was taken directly to what the Guardians of the Universe might call the sacred hall.

Before Kara had time to take in the sights of Oa, the light of the green power ring slowly brought her to the ground. She felt no discomfort as she descended, landing lightly.

At the moment, Kara was still dressed in her usual battle suit, a classic combination of red and blue, without any trace of green.

She looked around, particularly at the diminutive blue beings standing on a high platform—the Guardians of the Universe.

Kara knew better than to underestimate these beings. These so-called Guardians were among the oldest intelligent life forms in the universe, having developed advanced technology and mastery over the emotional spectrum eons ago.

Legend has it that one of them, Krona, sought to uncover the universe's origins. Defying the laws of the Guardians, he conducted forbidden experiments, which resulted in a catastrophic explosion that created the multiverse and the antimatter universe.

It was a stark reminder of how influential—and at times, destructive—they could be. The current crisis involving Parallax, for example, was rooted in their meddling.

While Kara observed the strange new surroundings and their inhabitants, her gaze shifted to a figure standing behind her.

"Who are you, and how dare you trespass in this sacred hall?" the figure demanded.

Kara turned to see a Green Lantern with red skin, black hair, and a human-like physique. Despite his righteous stance, Kara's keen eyes caught a glimpse of a yellow ring on his hand.

She smirked. "What's this? If you can't defeat your enemy, you join them? You claim to fight fear, yet you wield its power. Isn't that the same as surrendering to your greatest adversary?"

The Lantern instinctively hid the yellow ring.

The Guardians, seemingly recovering from their initial shock, now turned their full attention to Kara.

One of them spoke in a measured tone, "A Kryptonian. We did not expect there to be survivors."

Kara's expression darkened. "What's that supposed to mean? Are you surprised—or disappointed—that we still exist?"

Rising into the air without the aid of the green power ring, Kara flew up to the level of the Guardians, meeting their gazes head-on.

To the Green Lantern Corps stationed nearby, this act was seen as blatant disrespect. One Lantern immediately used his ring to alert the others on Oa, preparing them for a possible conflict.

Just as the tension reached a boiling point, Hal Jordan arrived to witness the standoff.

Kara, hovering defiantly, addressed the Guardians with cold determination. "Since you call yourselves the Guardians of the Universe, you must have been aware of Krypton's destruction. What were you doing when my planet was annihilated?"

Her voice carried an edge of accusation, fueled by the painful memories of her lost homeworld.

The Guardians exchanged brief glances before one finally spoke. "Kryptonian, before we address your grievances, you must return the ring you wear. It is not an ordinary green lantern ring but the primordial ring—the first of its kind. It draws directly from the willpower within the emotional spectrum, requiring no recharge. Such a ring is not meant for any one being."

Kara raised an eyebrow, intrigued by this revelation, but she quickly dismissed it with a sharp laugh. "If you want it, then answer me this: what role did you play in Krypton's destruction?"

Her demand was met with silence, broken only by the rising anger of a nearby Green Lantern. "How dare you speak to the Guardians this way?" Sinestro, captain of the Green Lantern Corps, stepped forward.

Kara turned her sharp gaze toward him.

"If you won't answer," she declared, "then I'll make my own judgment about your involvement in Krypton's destruction."

Sinestro snarled, "You arrogant fool! I'll teach you some respect."

Before he could act, Kara moved faster than he could register, slamming him to the ground with a resounding crash that shook the entire hall.

"I've had enough of your games," Kara said, her golden hair flowing like a halo of fury. Her eyes glowed red, threatening to unleash heat vision. "If you don't answer me today, I'll lay waste to all of you. That's a promise."

As Kara's ultimatum echoed through the air, a sudden explosion rocked the planet. From the debris emerged two streaks of light—one red and one black—rushing toward Kara with terrifying speed.

The Guardians' expressions turned grim. They knew exactly what had arrived: the red power of rage and the black power of death.
