MC treats everyone well but in his mind he thinks like they killed his family and divide his Empire

It's been translated good. But story is borring this doesn't have that type of appeal, Mc doesn't has a proper character. There are a lot of bad things in here but mostly it's about MCs character building and his director work where it is explained even shooting scene and it's about those Chinese cliches where everyone Targets mc from his starting point
Esta novela la leí hace unos meses en MTL, debo decir que me encanto, como cualquier novela china tiene sus cosas si ya sabes a lo que me refiero, pero no es como otras novelas que a fuerza quieren colocar a China como el centro del mundo. No soy muy fan del Harem, pero en las novelas de Hollywood me gusta que haya Harem sobre todo porque hay varias actrices que en lo personal me gustan xD ¡Esta novela no tiene Harem, pero el autor al principio tiene varias aventuras y algunos desamores! En general es una buena novela, esta genial leer entre ratos libres y es genial que alguien lo esté traduciendo.

This is a very solid Hollywood novel. It feels very similar to another translation by this guy "Director in Hollywood" but this feels like a more polished and refined version, I'm guessing Director In Hollywood was made first, and then this was made after the author learnt and improved. It is among the most realistic Hollywood novels I've read, for example it's one of few to acknowledge that pre-production even exists. Things don't always go right, the MC, he even has some haters and such. Relationships are not one dimensional, and most characters feel real, the only exception off the top of my head is the guy from the first chapter, Solomon. It's not an unrealistic fantasy where everything goes right and mc dominates the world with a single movie. It's grounded and logical, and is much more rewarding for the reader when he succeeds. It really feels earned. My only real complaint is the pace. As a result of being very realistic it's quite slow. By chapter 70 his second movie is just premiering, but it really doesn't bother me too much.
