Kapitel 73: Fighting Temptation

"Or don't!" Someone shouts from the other side of the door.

We freeze on the spot, staring at each other. My breath halts, and the sound of my heart pounds loudly in my ears. I wait to strain and listen for the voice again. It's almost like it was a part of our imagination.

"Don't command him to do anything right now, Princess."

My mouth drops open. There it is again! This time, it's like a bucket of icy cold water has been thrown over me, the chill trickling across my skin, cooling down the heat and desire swirling inside of me. The fogginess in my mind starts to clear, and I sit up, the cover sliding down from my shoulder, exposing me more to the cold.
